| Recent Review: | | I moved into Dulaney Valley Apartments two years ago while they were renovating. For the past two years, it has been a plesant & upscale place to live. This summer, Goucher College placed hundereds of their students in apartments. The apartment complex has since gone downhill. As a professional , I cannot deal with latenight parties, drunk students vandalizing cars/property and so on. I would not recomond this apartment complex who is not a wild student |

| Recent Review: | | When I first moved in the staff seemed really friendly, and even appeared to have their act together.Ha!My apartment was pretty cute, it's just too bad my neighbors were so yucky. Im not talking about the college kids, they weren't so bad.Im talking about the loud ass section 8 families that bring their troubles home with them.I was a full time student at the time and would be home during the day.All I would hear was babies screaming and crying and some lady yelling shut the fuck up!Also, my first day living there Ia guy getting arrested in my backyard! The police came to my building numerous times for this family.After wooing you into their community the management didn't give a crap about you. There were months that went by that a maintenence request wasn't fixed.I would NOT recommend living here.Bottom line; it's not worth the trouble |

| Recent Review: | | I am a college student who is about to finish up a year here. The good things about this place are: 1)tons of college kids live here 2)close to campus and 695 3)decent parkingThe bad things however are as follows1)my car has been hit twice and i never found out who did it.2)i have seen people that live here hit another car and run3)in the winter the utilities are insanely high because of poor insulation4)walls are thin5)maintenance is inconsistant.. sometimes slow sometimes fast6)rent is too high and is increased if you decide to stay a second year.7)we live on the bottom level and the neighbors above us throw their trash into our yard, puke and pee over their balcony and management hasn't done anything to stop it |

| Recent Review: | | I can't really judge Lambeth House fairly because I haven't moved in yet.But I'm writing this in the interest of justice after reading the previous negative review that states how absolutely awful the manager is.Apparently this reviewer has a serious lack of tact, an anger problem, and has decided to make up a bunch of crap to post for purposes of revenge.My first and second impression of the manager was very positive.She first explained to me that her hours are 8-3 because she has a child at home to care for, and she shuts her door for the same reason anyone would shut their door when they need to get some work done.It probably only looks like a "coffee club" to that reviewer because his social skills are so under par that nobody would want him/her in their club in the first place.I've talked to other tennants in the building and they are all generally happy with how things get taken care of.Additionally, I've asked around about the soundproofing and have heard nothing but positive responses.So just remember to take these reviews with a grain of salt (especially mine, I don't even live here yet) because everyone has different experiences and perspectives based on their own individual situations. |

| Recent Review: | | I never even got to move into my apartment.We were told we had an apartment "reserved" for us, but they would not let us sign the lease.The week before we made the 250 mile trip down to sign (I live out of state), I called to ask a small question.I was told we were no longer able to move in on the agreed-upon date.In fact, we wouldn't be able to move in until half a month later.First, they said it was because the current occupant wouldn't be moving out as early as they thought.Then, the story changed - suddenly, the tenant had always been planning to stay that long, and it was US who had misunderstood.The management was horrendously rude on the phone every time we spoke.The story about our apartment changed each time.It turns out that they never had an apartment available for us in the first place, and so they were just leading us on that whole time.DO NOT rent from Somerset Manor, unless you like getting screwed over at the last minute.I can't really say much about the apartment itself, since I never actually got to move in.However, from touring the complex, I can mention a few things.Kitchens were extremely outdated - looked as though they had last been redone in the 1970s.Also, there was no security at all.Anyone could walk into a building through the front door - no intercom, lock, or anything.Right across the street from a Juvenile Detention Center.Not recommended. |
