| Management is unhelpful and apathetic unless they are informing you that they are fining you money for all kinds of reasons like putting old furniture in the dumpster (according to them, its not trash and they will charge you $300). Apartments are over 30 years old, so something is always going wrong or breaking including often flooding. Parking is the biggest scam ever. They hire a towing company that charges $190 for towing, but would rather sit in hiding and watch your guest enter your apartment, put his car up on the tow truck and then ring your door bell and extort $90 out of you in cash so they won?t tow you. If you want to have a visitor night or day, YOU have to get a parking pass from the front office for your guest. If the office is closed, tough luck because they will even tow you from the visitors lot if you don?t have a visitors pass. And for $190 dollars, you can bet that they are stalking the lots for anyone who even runs in for a few minutes. Moving out or in? Make sure you get a guest pass, they will tow you?re U-Haul for the nice price of $265. Oh yeah, if you park forewards in a spot with your sticker in the front of your car, they will tow you! If maintenence has to enter your apartment to fix somthing (and believe me they will often!) they will track dirt in and make a mess of your place without regard to cleaning it up. As a medical student you just don?t have the time to fight with the office constantly and you are just complaining to deaf ears anyway. The only redeming feature of these apartments is that they are close to the hospital, other than that, they are decrepid and the walls are infested by squirrels and nesting birds. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the messages that your neighbor gets on his/her answering machine. Intimacy? Forget it. You and your neighbor will be familiar with each others dating habits. So if you?re considering Medical Center Court just because it?s close to the hospital, expect on having to pay at least $1000 extra per year in miscellaneous charges that the front office fines as it sees fit, and the quality of the apartment leaves much to be desired. Would I recommend this place to a friend? Are you kidding me? Would I recommend this place to an enemy?I don't think I could be so cruel. |
