Our doorknob fell off, literally..gone, we called maintenance and they said, "well don't you have a deadbolt? just stick a rag in the whole in the door and we'll come out monday"(it was friday)2. dead bees, hornets, centipedes everywhere inside your apartment all summer long3. But don't worry about being lonely once its winter, thats when the mice come. and management will bring you a mouse trap eventually so everything will be fine4. The trashiest people ever live there....i felt like i was in garden city.5.No snow removal...its sweet because you get to dig yourself a tunnel in the snow to get to your car.6. ONCE they brought out the snowblower...it was blowing the snow out onto the cars....i was standing by my car...and sure enough he plowed right by me and a snowdrift landed on me and my car.7. They redo the parking lot....seems like a good thing, only they don't tell you they're gonna do it, then they tow your car away and say they told you you were gonna have to move it.8. NO HEAT ...our heater broke in the middle of december. it is not fixed to this day. it will work for a minute if we manually light the pilot light. their idea of fixing it was bringing us space heaters which means we are still freezing and have huge electric bills.9. Cops patrol the damn parking lot...i'm serious. They're are constantly police cars driving around.10. Everyone's bastard children run around the complex causing chaos.11. the pool area is dirty, and filled with fatties in bikini's. SICK.12. The bathtub drains don't usually work so you have to stand in nasty water.13. My roomates closet has flooded twice. Once because of a leak in the apartment above us, and two weeks ago, the sewer backed up. yep...shit water in her closet. It has still not been properly cleaned.14. when you move out you have to pay for a professional cleaner to come in or they will take it out of your security deposit.15. New management even bigger a-holes than the last.16. none of the windows seal right, its fricking freezing in there. (even colder when you have no heat)17. trash removal doesn't always come...once there was a damn mattress laying in the parking lot. seriously flat out, no one wanted to pick it up so everyone just kept driving over it until the garbage men finally came.*We have called the health department, the city , lawyers and it would just cost too much and be too much hassle to do anything about it but these are the most horrible apartments ever and not cheap either. their only redeeming quality is their size and the walk in closet.oh..one more thing...the smoke detector goes off constantly. i'm talking if you make tea...or even look at it wrong. we smashed ours with a baseball bat within two weeks of moving in. problem solved:) |
