| Recent Review: | | I have just turned in 60 day move out notice and I couldn't be happier!Arbor Glen claims to be a "luxury" apartment and it couldn't be further from it.It began moments after we signed our lease when the person in the office warned us that the plumbing isnot the greatestand to make sure that we keep a plunger in both bathrooms.Since then, weve had our car broken into in thesecuregarage that does not even have security cameras installed. We have dealt with the garage doors breaking numerous times, main entry door locks that are broken, a leaking fireplace, smoke detectors that malfunction (beeping for 2 days straight before maintenance finally came to fix it), a security intercom that does not work the majority of the time, elevators that have been broken for 5 days now, and horrible plumbing in our apartment. We have also lived in these apartments for 9 months now without being able to have a storage closet, which is supposedly something that was included with the rent (and one of the reasons we rented with Arbor Glen), because there is not enough to supply an open one in our building. In addition to all of the issues that weve had with the quality of the building, the quality of the clientele has also dropped to the point of being embarrassing to live at Arbor Glen. There are unsupervised children sun tanning on the pavement in the parking lot and playing baseball in the parking lot (right amongst the cars). There is quite frequently trash all over the grounds and the trashcans in the entry way are usually full for multiple days before someone finally empties them.If all of that werent bad enough, we have now seen people in the first floor apartments popping out their window screens to create adoorfor their kids to walk in and out of and for them to sit in their windowsill to smoke. This definitely does not fit my definition of aluxury community. We have been disappointed with these apartments since day one. |
