| Recent Review: | | We moved here from out of state. I had my mom check out the apartment before we moved in. There had been a fire in the kitchen by the previous tenant so they were working on the unit. We were promised in writing that the unit would be completed when we got in town. When we got here, the apartment had not been cleaned, the carpet was crunchy, the kitchen floor was covered in glue, we had no shelves in the kitchen, the apartment still had ash and soot everywhere. they replaced the range hood but didnt electrically hook it up, when we pointed out that it wasnt working it came crashing down on us because they didnt replace the charred cabinets, they just screwed the new range hood into the charred wood which was brittle. They failed to mention to us that you have no control over when you can turn your heat or a/c on or off. If you get cold in the summer or hot in the winter prepare to suffer and from march til the beginning of june prepare to be without either heat or a/c. Our toliet leaks, the apartment wasn't painted. The steps in the building are loose and so is the railing, also more than half the time there are no lights on in the hallways at night. We had no smoke detector and for the first 3 months we had no fire extinguisher on our floor. And the air filter looked like it had never been changed or cleaned. We have been here for almost 4 months on our 6 month lease and we still are waiting for them to fix everything. I have been told on more than one occassion they would be up to fix everything on a certain date and no one ever showed. Last week they did replace everyone in the office so we were hoping everything would run smoother, we got to test the new people out already. Our bathroom sink was leaking and water was pouring everywhere and I called down to report it and I was told someone would be up by the end of the day to fix it. It took them 5 days to even come look at it and then 2 more days to come back to fix it. I was just told they are to be here tomorrow to take care of all the issues I have been waiting on since we moved in so we will see. I took all ofthis to the district manager 2 months ago and I did get 1/2 a month rent credit but was promised things were to be taken care of, but as you can see we are still waiting. If I had the money I would have found another apartment the monday after we moved in. They are nice apartments if things were taken care of. But all the hassle isnt worth it. Take my advice and do not move here! |
