| Recent Review: | | I lived in Briarwood Village for 2 years.They have great facilities - like the pool, volleyball sand pit and tennis courts.The basketball court is very small.The laundry facilities are very nice, but you have to pay an arm and a leg to get clean clothes (as of May 2004, the cost was $1.25 to wash, $1.00 to dry.)They management were very nice and quick to remedy a problem, but if you have problems with your neighbors, they are very lax on taking care of it.Overall, it's a great place to live and very close to SMSU - five minute drive! |

| Recent Review: | | The manager (Pat) has a serious issue. She is unfair, she promises some tenants one thing but wouldn't even think about doing that same thing for other tenants. I am a very highly respectable person in springfield and do not appreciate being treated badly. I have no problem with any other staff members especially Butch (Maintanance), Karen (Office), Tracy (Maintanance), Deanna (Security Guard), and Shane (Security Guard). They are all extremely kind, caring, professional individuals. Columns needs more staff like them. Pat seems to only like older men. If you are a woman or a younger man i guess your S.O.L. I have friends and myself that will not even step in the office if Pat is there unless totally have to. I think she needs to retire and that her poor management is making columns look bad. She is extremely rude to her staff and will not let them talk to the tenants or she will yell at them for socializing with the tenants. I'm sorry but i like a place where i can talk with the staff. thats a way to gain more respect. Especially the Security Guards need to be able to talk with the tenants to gain their respect. I was in there the other day and a younger female was working in the office and Pat was not around. Apparently I found out that Pat checked herself into the Hospital and left this poor girl unattended in the office. I understand that emergencies happen but what kind of manager would leave their job in the hands of a person who doesn't even work there? I appreciate your time.Columns IV Tenant |

| Recent Review: | | I lived in the Concord Manor for a little over a year. The place is older and definitely needed some renovations. In fact, the kitchen floor definitely needed redone as nails were popping up out of the linoleoum. Maintenance was good and anytime you needed something fixed it was generally taken care of within in a reasonable amount of time. My only major complaint is with the management and upkeep on the apartment. Like any apartment, make sure you definitely go through the apartment with the manager when you move out or they are likely to charge you for things that never worked very well in the first place (ex. blinds on the patio). |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived in the English village apartments for a year and a half now. Overall the apartments look fairly nice, if not old and out of date, upon inspection. The kitchen stove and cabinets are roughly 30yrs. old however and could certainly be replaced. It is almost impossible to bake anything in our stove.While the apartments look alright they are not. The closet doors (4 closets) are made to 'pop' out and opening and closing one will most certainly make it fall out so beware if you have small children who may be hit on the head by a falling door.It has been 9 months since anyone in the 'cheaper' buildings has had a hot shower or any decent amount of water pressure for more than 2 minutes. Showers are most often ice cold and such a light trickle that it barely gets the soap off.Complaints have been filed by most of the comlex off and on since this started and the management has yet to do anything about it. Aparently I know more about how the water system works than the men who supposed work at it for a living.Our apartment is also infested with ants that live in the base boards and beneath the carpet... the management has yet to spray for bugs. The lights in several of the open air stair wells are also out and have yet to be fixed. The light in our stair well has been out since we moved in.I have never used more expensive laundry facilities at any of the apartments I have lived in, in the dorms, and even at the laundry mat and there is usually at least one washer and two dryers at a time that do not work.Perhaps if the young woman who supposedly manages the complex were ever in the office some of these things might be fixed. But she is rarely, if ever, in. |

| Recent Review: | | They have a lot of old buildings. The parking is horrible, there is no place for your guest to park. They are nice in the beginning, but they get nasty if your need something repaired. The main office (Debco) will even laugh when you call about the property managers. They say they don't have security, but they have monitors in their house. |

| Recent Review: | | This place is terrible.The new manager is nice but the company she reports to doesn't give a damn about the tenants so nothing will ever get done for you.It took me four months to get a leaky roof fixed.There's always a party going on so don't plan on sleeping at night.And you're better off just parking on the street than trying to find a place in the lot. |
