| Recent Review: | | If you do not care about the condition of the building, or do not care if you have a good land lord, then by all means, rent here.I have no idea how this building passes code.There are old/dead/unconnected live wires everywhere in the basement.The land lord is a lawyer.So he knows just what he can get away with as far as neglagence.The mortar between the bricks is falling out causing the walls to leak.He finally started fixing it after a year of our complaining.He did not let us know that there were people coming to fix the exterrior walls, so we had our windows open.I came home and everything was covered in an inch of brick dust.We are constantly with out electricity or water due to some problem or another.I have never been so happy to move in all of my life!!!!!!! |

| Recent Review: | | I've lived at the Colony for about 8 months and love it.The management is great, and the maintenance staff is always quick to respond.I have heard about problems with squirrels getting into the attics, but only because all winter they had people out trying to fix the problem, and I would greet them each morning on my way to my car.The windows are drafty, but currently the units are undergoing complete renovations.I checked out the unit next to mine, and it's great!I would definately recommend The Colony to anyone looking for a safe, quiet place to call home. |

| Recent Review: | | This is a good exmple of what's good on the outside is not always good on the inside.The upkeep of these apartments. suck.The apartment customer service is so poor.This company is strictly about theirselves.After making complaints in reference to roach infestation mold and dirty carpet that was in the apartment the first day i moved in the management said it would take a year for them to get around to it. WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING DO NOT LEASE FROM THESE APARTMENTS.. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME CHECK WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU THEY HAVE HAD 25 COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME THING AND NONE OF THE COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN RESOLVEDE |

| Recent Review: | | I have a one bedroom apartment that is very much acceptable.When moving in , the paint was not p[rofessionally applied (there was paint on the outlet covers, molding newar the floor...)Common areas, such as hallways, mailroom, outside courtyard and surroundings exterior are maintained about once a month, so it does get a bit dirty.Management tries to get out of fixing anything that it does not feel it is responsible for and states so in there contracts, be very careful and MAKE SURE YOU READ THE ENITRE CONTRACT. |
