| Recent Review: | | The apartment seems nice and is within walking distance of UNC. But for $350 a month, the rooms are miniscule!The fixtures are horrible and the carpeting was awful. You can also hear everything from all of the other apartments.The Sophomore guys above us made a ridiculous amount of noise.Because they could not legally drink, they had parties at their apartment almost everything of the week,including Sunday nights. The whole complex in general is very loud.The rent is far too expensive.I live now in a small house with a yard and much bigger rooms for $275 a month plus ultities.Look around before you decide to settle for Mill Creek.There are much better deals to be found! |

| Recent Review: | | The staff has a high turnover rate, and each staff member tells you something different.Get everything in writing and take pictures of your apartment.I lived there for two years.My second year there they gave away my apartment two days before I was suppose to move in.The new apt they gave us had fleas and stains on the carpet.Summit Hill tries to make you pay for the most minut things.I would live here if I was planning to live there forever. |

| Recent Review: | | At most times, this was not a terrible apartment.The staff was friendly and remembered my name, but the maintenance and unkeep were a major problems.My heat went out during a cold November.They promised to fix it the day that I called, but when I got home from work, the office was closed and nothing had been done (no notes left, etc).They looked at it the next day, but they told me to use emergeny heat (which was also not working!).They finally installed a new heating system four days later (they loaned me a single space heater until then), but they punched holes through outer & inner walls & there were wires everywhere.They eventually spackled the hole that they made in the outside & inner walls.They never fixed the wires.My a/c also stopped working after they fixed the heat, and they didn't fix it after about four weeks.I decided to break my lease & move before very hot weather arrived.They would not give me any break on the penalty because they said that I had only had to deal with regualr maintenance issues.There were other issue that are more normal.There was mold (a mushroom grew in my carpet once).They got paint on my furniture when doing touch-up work.There was a lot of leaking by the windows after heavy rains.Etc, etc.It's my opinion that the management is letting the complex go downhill.When I moved in it was mostly graduate students and families, but not mostly students live there on a short term basis. |

| Recent Review: | | Super gross move in environment.Managment has changed (I see no improvement).Maintenance....Where? I fixed all of my requests myself after waiting.Very old cheap (crunchy) carpet (person that lived in the apartment before was charged to replace.....Shady!)Have to pay for water now as well, expensive!Heater and A/C are incredibly inefficient, I pay 120 a month for A/C.....BSI suggest you do a background check and demand a security deposit from them before renting!!! |
