| Recent Review: | | I have lived here for two and a half years and have had a wonderful experience thus far.I have never known another management staff to respond to my needs in such a timely manner, not to mention they're just friendly people!Grounds are well-kept...there's tons of parking..and very very little noise.I've always had concerns about safety in Durham, but I honestly feel safe living here.I would recommend this place over any other in Durham. |

| Recent Review: | | I thought this was a nice place to live until I moved out.Once I moved out they did not refund my security deposit by making up charges that did not exist.Whenever I tried to contact them the person responsible was always busy and unable to talk to me.All of my letters have gone unanswered and the property manager has been non-reponsive also.Rent at your peril!!!!! |

| Recent Review: | | On the surface the place still looks wonderful, but looks can be deceiving.The complex has come under a new management company and the place has definitely gone downhill. You can tell that the clientele has changed. Now I no longer feel safe going to the workout room after dark and cars are being broken into. Not to mention how horrendous the parking situation has become. I have tried to address these issues and am met with shrugs from management. I miss the days of the caring and personable management staff that we once had. |

| Recent Review: | | I lived in an Erwin Square apartment (the ones converted from the old mill) for three months, and it was more than enough.These were highly desirable when I was an undergrad at Duke because of their location on 9th street and proximity to the 9th street bars, and the east campus bus stop--although the bus stop is a bit of a hike to get to.At first glance they are very pretty and interesting-looking because of the 2-story windows, exposed brick and loft floorplans.But living there was horrible, because the walls are made out of something thinner than cardboard.Forget about privacy--you can hear your roommate whispering in the next room.From my bedroom I could hear the phone ring in my next door neighbor's apartment and then could hear every word of her side of the conversation.Also, the maintenance staff seemed to be very hard to get a hold of when I was there.The first week, our dishwasher broke and it was never fixed.So, even though the location is great, for the price they charge you can afford a better place.Not recommended. |

| Recent Review: | | i've been living here for 4 months now and have not been pleased. the first day of my move in, my townhouse was not cleaned, i was missing a bedroom door, bathroom/kitchen drawers, water wasn't turned on, i have a long list of things.now i have problems with millipedes invading my home and they have come to exterminated 4 times in one month.i'm thinking about breaking my lease, it's just that bad |

| Recent Review: | | You do not want to live in this apartment complex.Their service stinks.The laundary facilities are always broken.Half of the staff do not know what is going on.People's cars have been broken into.The water tastes funny.They change the rules without telling people, like installing water meters to charge for your water, which was originally promised as free.On top of this, they are steadily increasing the rates.They ruined the entrance too with some ridiculous desert plant landscaping.Most of the plants quickly died. |

| Recent Review: | | This Apartment Complex has changed the name and management and have not done any improvement in their service. In the the last two years of my stay at this place, things have gone from bad to worst.There have been a few break-ins recently and the Apartment Manager Cherish talks about improving things but the New Residents of this complex includes many undocumented people and partying has become more prevalent here.Once the Initial lease Expires they would charge something called a Market Rate Plus $100 which will jack up the Rent up to $400 or the other option will be to signup for a long term Lease (bonded for Life !!)The Maintenance at this Complex is very poor . |

| Recent Review: | | I lived here for a year and my roommate lived here for two.We never had a single bad experience.The complex is incredibly close to West campus; all undergrads there are mostly seniors and for the most part quiet.The pool is excellent, the fitness room adequate.Our apartment was immaculate, we never heard our neighbors and nothing broke.I can't really rate the management staff because I never had to deal with them, although they were very nice when we were signing the lease. The only downsides are if you live at the back, you have to drive over a bunch of speed bumps every day to get out, and the gate is a joke--eight cars can follow the first one in before it closes, so the security is not as tight as it may look.But on the whole, I would highly recommend living here, especially if you are a senior or a grad or prof. student.If you can afford the rent, it's more than worth it. |
