Recent Review: I'd like to post a review on here to warn others about the sleazy management practices of this apartment complex. Last year, I moved out of the Wind Lake apartment when my lease expired. I had asked one of the representatives if there was anything I needed when I left just to make sure I covered my bases. I was informed at that point, everything should have been fine. Afew months later, I received a letter stating that I owed them one month?s rent and I replied that there must have been a problem in the records because I vacated the apartment when my lease expired. I was chalking it up to bad record keeping since I had experienced some problems in the past including mention that I had let my lease lapse when I actually renewed it a month earlier and being listed as having vacated on another ocassion when I had not. I never heard another word from them on the matter until about six/seven months later when I received a letter from a collection agency stating that I owed them for a month?s rent. As it stands currently, I am trying to legally pursue the matter since they?ve decidedly screwed up my credit report and can?t seem to relay information correctly to their tenants. I would not only not live here, I would advise to go live on the streets off of MLK before stepping foot near there.
