| Recent Review: | | My husband and I lived here for 2 years and the office staff was polite and willing to help for the most part, maintenance was fairly good but during our first winter, the furnace died several times and we would call maintenance and get no response for half the day and we were freezing.They finally replaced it.I agree that most of the reasonably priced apartments are older but clean and livable.There is a section of newer, larger apartments with washers and dryers which are more expensive.During our first year there, there was a lot of criminal activity going on.I noticed cops were always busting into apartments and arresting several people.I was concerned about that and raised with one of the office staff who ignored me.There was occassionally a lot of noise due to a group of college students who moved in after us.The office did provide activities in the fall for the entire apartment complex which was nice. |

| Recent Review: | | This place is having major problems with money right now.They are in so much trouble and in debt that WISTON XIV LIMITED "the owner" had to sell of a property across town called Westbrook Manor.It took a major housing code violation just to get us out of the apartment I stayed in.The management does not care about the people that live their.Managements only concern is how tight they can pinch a penny.If you have ever heard the term don't judge a book by its cover then really think twice about moving into this complex.This place is the central point for all that is incompetent.Management and peon workers in the office have changed hands more times than I can count on all hands and toes.Every time I went into this office it was always a new face, but always the same lip service.I got so much lip service from that place that I swear those people in that office took a class in order to get that job to give lip service.Ah, yes and lets talk about the getting things fixed in this place.Unless your life was in danger there was a good chance whatever you needed fixed would not get fixed.If you got something fixed within a two to three weeks consider yourself lucky.Every time I would ask for something to be fixed I would have to call at least three times before something would get fixed.Oh yes, and then there was the air filters in the units.A normal apartment complex would replace those for you at least once a month.This place you had to take the filter out yourself and take it into the office in order to get a new filter.This complex even made the news a few months ago when a womens unit was with out AC for over 25 days!How pathetic is that?This place has no regard for human life and only concern is to sucker people in to this nightmare trap and suck them clean of there money providing the with extremely poor service.The owner is a slum lord and is only concerned about the almighty dollar.Well my hats off to the owner because in the end the owner is getting nailed with legal battles now because of all the poor service and upkeep to the complex.I hope they suck every penny out of the slum lord.On a lighter note I am extremely happy to be out this place and my heart goes out to all the people still stuck in that complex.Every person talk to I make sure to mention to stay clear of this place. |

| Recent Review: | | *Snow removal was so poor that I often had to call in to work because I was unable to move my car; they like to bury the cars under 4-5 feet of snow with the snow blower (when they use it)!*Ice was 3-6 inches thick for several months, when you don't do a good job removing the snow, it tends to ice up and stay that way for several months!!*They DO NOT KEEP THEIR PROMISES!!!!You are told one thing; you can even get it writing, but then make changes when they decide that it isn't convenient for them to fulfill that agreement.The BBB (BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU) has been called on them buy NUMEROUS residents.*They lay blame on people who have QUIT, yes QUIT, the company, because of shady practices.They have had 5 managers in the past year (1 year).As you can imagine, their POLICIES have changes hundreds of times within the past year!!!*They often "Misplace" your notices to vacate or your notice to have something changed, like giving up a garage.When this happens, you (the resident) must pay for the next month or two in order for the new notice to vacate to get into effect!WOW isn't this convenient!!But that's how they run their business, 100% DISHONESTY!!*They offer incentives to stay (sign another year) but do not fulfill their end of the agreement.*They charge $80 to have the carpets cleaned, which they have to have cleaned anyway, but only pay $65 to the carpet cleaning company so where does the other $15 goes to?..........*NO ONE, I MEAN NO ONE over at the leasing office has people skills.Every manager the past 2 years has always avoided any type of conflict.They tell you that they will take care of the problem, make it better, fix this, fix that, but they don't have enough people skills to know how to deal with the situation!!*Their offices hours are when it is convenient for them; you know when they aren't running personal errands.*They give deals (when you resign for a 2nd year, etc.) to some people but not to all!!HELLO THAT'S DISCRIMINATION!!!WHICH IS ILLEGAL, BUT THEY DENY DENY DENY!!*When the property has car break-ins, assaults, etc. they keep it hush hush!But it ALWAYS leeks out, which then makes the residents pissed, as you can imagine.*When you get a package (UPS, FedEx, etc.) they keep it over at the office for who knows how long!!I have often had to go over there and demand that they give me my package, because they put it in the back room and forget about it.They also do this for "SAME DAY" packages!!NAGHTY PEOPLE!!!*When you need maintenance to work on something, leaking faucets, dryer gets too hot, etc. they will not write up a maintenance report so that they maintenance men know that the hell is going on and what they need to fix!!*If I have missed anything, don't be afraid to add on!! |

| Recent Review: | | I have since moved after 1+ years of renting here.These are far and away the cheapest built apartments in Omaha.Each and every morning of living here, I was awoken by the upstairs resident due to the less than paper-thin walls.During the spring, I was subject to an ant infestation and Dana Mann Property Management sent over someone to lay traps, forget about the 500 ants in the kitchen.To top it off, upon terminating my lease, Dana Mann withheld about half of my deposit for damages which I noted upon moving in.Do not get sucked in by the cheap rent!!!! It's cheap for a reason.These apartments should be bull-dozed and built by a management company who could bring some class to a good location. |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived at Pacific Ridge for sometime now.I am very disappointed in the quality of tenets the complex lets live here.I know for a fact that there are individuals that have been staying rent free with other tenets (not on the lease) for more than four months now.The individuals have no respect for others concerns safety and quiet hours.I have seen these individuals have brawls in the parking lot at night (more than once).Recently cars have been broken into and vandalized. You can bring it up to the management and it falls on deaf ears.Late at night on the weekends you can see them trashing the pool (after quiet hours around 2:00 a.m.).I don't understand how actions like these can go without repercussion.When I have had issues with maintaince I would contact "Joe" and he would be very disrespectful and rude to me like I am putting him out for doing his assigned duties.I have watched many tenets move out that couldn't take it anymore and I personally don't blame them.Don't get me wrong there are some really good people here but a few bad apples can ruin the whole bunch (and have).I believe if management would make sure that all individuals that "lived" in the complex where on the lease and held people accountable for their actions this complex might turn it self around.But until then I will be shopping around for a complex that appreciates my almost $800.00 rent.And I don't have to put up with College kids that can't hold there liquor and act like heathens |
