Recent Review: My stay for around 2 years at the apartment was without any major incidents. Even though it was expensive, it was well located with relates to my office. You can do better in the same area if you are price conscious and have time to shop around.The kicker here is not only will the rent be steep, but also the fact that you will not be refunded you security deposit.In my case when I quit the apartment, I forcefully had to get them come over and check my apartment. I was told that there is no problem with it and all is well. They verbally assured me that they would return my deposit in 30 days.What I got was 15% of my deposit back. The remaining 85% was kept back for damages, which were a figment of their imagination. (e.g. $40 freezer not clean, $175 Carpet Stain etc.)Its a con job, and for the ones living there already. Watch out!If you are expecting to get any help, by calling the Avalon Community head office. I wish you all the best.
