| Recent Review: |  | I recently got ripped off by this apartment complex called Camden Commons in Henderson Nevada. This complex advertised that there was no security deposit and discounts for what they call preferred employees. When I applied to get an apartment this place wanted $235 up front and then they tried to tell me that I was going to need additional money of $1535 if I wanted to move in. This totaled $1770 that they wanted just to move in and told me I would still have to pay additional rent of $950 my first month on top of this. This was outrageous and when I asked them to explain what the fees were for they couldnt, they just told me that the fees were to cover their expenses to take the apartment off the market. I wasnt even given an apartment yet. Since they couldnt be upfront with me I decided to cancel and asked for my $235 back, thank God I did not give them more than that. They refused to refund my money claiming that I did not cancel within the required time frame, and they told me that it was my own fault for not canceling sooner. I canceled two days after I applied because they took their time in getting back to me about a unit and my application. They waited 2 days to tell me that I was going to need nearly $2000 plusto move in. those people are very shifty. They gave a good sales pitchwhen I first walked in but when it came down to the service it was the absolute worst.All my questions were unwelcome. My concerns were never resolved.I have had nothing but a bad time with this place and I am still out $235.Every time I call, they pass me around to a different person and tell me they have to get back to me but my calls are never returned. I warn anyone who is looking for a place to live, stay away from this place. Its a huge ripp off.I finally found a new place called Amalfi, It only cost me $325 total to move in and it has been outstanding service. |

| Recent Review: |  | I moved in a year ago (mid-June '04)I was promised the carpet would be replaced prior to move-in.This was not the case of course and has set the tone for my entire living experience here.Office and maintenance are EXTREMELY under-staffed and you can tell the owners only want to make a quick buck and not bother spending the necessary funds to fix the place up.The apartment hardly looked clean upon move-in and the dishwasher and a/c did not even work.The a/c was fixed quickly, but it took over a month for the dishwasher.A bathroom fan went out... took over 3 months to replace.Several work orders have been requested for conveinance and cosmetic repairs. The office conveintly loses them, as they are filed.Currently we have a work order over 2 months to have a broken door on the launrdy area replaced, blinds for the patio to be repaired, and a towel bar to be replaced.Our built-in microwave has been broke for over a month and with it the light and kitchen exhaust fan.Upon calling the office, they frequently tell me, "They have more important issues to fix."This is even after I tell them that my work orders are over two months old.Joyce, the property manager, is good at reassurance.. but very low on actual performance.You can be guaranteed if you leave any of the staff or the answering service a message it will be promptly ignored.""If there are any practicing lawyers who would like to assist me in legally and without liability.. to break my lease.. | Recent Review: |  | these are old apartments they have nice grounds but they dontkeep up with the work orders.. they take days to fix things including your hot water and heating. they raise your rent with out your lease being up. they just need to go through and up date everything |

| Recent Review: |  | This place has continued to go down hill my entire stay.It is in a great location but the apartment is not well kept up and the management here will drive you nuts.Car stereos do not last long in vehicles and if you have more than one vehicle good luck on parking.Biggest problem getting them to admit that they are responsible for anything. |
