| Recent Review: | | Other than mean old man Harry - a resident since day one he brags - who is allowed to work at the office (why?!) and boss the residents around for no good reason, I highly recommend this complex.The buildings are very professionally managed by Home Properties -> check out their website.The entire maintenance staff is top notch and the landscaping has won awards.Plenty of activities are scheduled throughout the year, including the long winter when you'll be scratching at the walls to get out.Snowplowing reliable.Located - via potholes - near grocer, pharm, post, mall, park, restaurants, gas, churches, child care, craft, dry clean, barber, dollar, pet, tan, nails, thrift, bar, KMart, Sam's Club, Target, & Wal-Mart, with airport, library, & hospital not too far also.Neighbors are friendly even if they don't speak English.Rent is reasonable and water/heat/sewage/trash are paid.Dishwasher and disposal don't stink much.Lots of students and families, not many seniors or military.All around seems fairly accessible for those with disabilities.The fitness rooms are popular, but the community computers and washer/dryers are often out of order.Some bug problems, especially garden (AKA basement) level units.Playground and pool are nice . . . wish the same of the carpeting.They offer compensation if you refer future residents.Have witnessed some dumpster-diving and domestic disputes but no car theft so far.Noise is minimal when the mntc staff isn't cussing or mowing.Elsewhere you may find larger square footage but it won't come with this many amenities.Overall, I give this community a thumbs-up even though I personally can't wait to leave western New York.If this sounds like the place for you, keep your kids away from that bitter jerk of a racist named Harry. |
