If you decide to move out of Foxwood Apt's and buy a house like myself, they will make you fill out a "Option to Buy a House" form.What this means is instead of living here for a term of 12 months, you can give them 60 days notice from the 1st of the following month and they'll keep your security deposit! What a SCAM! Connie, the office Manager is a BITCH! They have you by the balls when you want to move out! The only reason I lived here is because I have a dog, and could not find any other apartments that allowed dogs! |

| Recent Review: | | These apartments promise a lot more than they deliver. The rent is outrageous for what you get. Insulation is virtually nonexistent between floors - you can hear people above you walking all the time. The exterior door has been broken twice in a year and it took weeks to be fixed. The plumbing is extremely loud and the toilets plug all the time. I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere if you are new to the area and like peace and quiet. This place reminds me more of a dormitory than a home and will be leaving as soon as my lease is up. |

| Recent Review: | | 1) The management just loves to rent short-term, like 1 or 2 months, to companies who bring in temp construction workers from places Mexico, Phillipino, India and Vietnam. Needeless to say that you get neighbors who like loud music and strange smelling food. So you can enjoy both every day after work, and all weekends through!!! What's more -you can't even tell the folks to calm down - they don't speak English!!!2) Place is Infested by Ants. All kinds of them, fire ants, forest ants, leaf eaters, etc. I complained to manager. She brought a can of Rade!!! That's the best they can do!!!3) Drains get clogged every month.Complained to manager. They sent plumbers. Three times. And I still get my kitchen sink full of water when neighbors upstairs use dishwasher ! After I take a shower, it takes an hour for the thub to get rid of the wastewater.What a nice place.4) No Soundproof at all !!!Noisy neigbors? Out of luck!No sense complaining to manager - they don't care.5) The tap water in the apartments.... guess where they get it? That's right, from the Twin Lakes! Now, notice that they use pesticides on the grass adjacent to the lakes! You get the idea. Not being risk takers, we opted to buy ALL our drink water at Walmart.6) Postal mail and UPS deliveries are getting stolen occasionally. Once I saw ablack kid playing with a toy that I order from amazon.com and never got it. Guess it's what they call "sharing with ya neighbor".... and on, and on, and on....Renters!! Keep out! |
