| Recent Review: | | I really like Lakeland.The one-bedrooms are sort of small, but it is a college-town.I attend the lawschool.Most of the people who live here are college or graduate students.The apartment is right on the 30 bus route (takes you to campus or the mall/supermarket).And campus is only a short and very beautiful walk away - even in the dead of winter.I haven't had too many maintenance problems, but when I have called they've been very prompt and helpful.I want to especially note my love for the individuals who work in the office.After I failed miserable, Stephanie basically spent two straight days on the phone working with the people from the electric company because they shut off my power by mistake.(Apparently, my neighbor hadn't been paying his bill.Bottom line with that story is Ithaca Rentals and Renovations is wonderful, but the electric company is incompetent, mean-spirited, and lazy).Also, you can get an assigned parking space right outside your door from $10 a month and there's ethernet.I have a friend staying in another Ithaca Rentals and Renovations place too and she loves her place.Definitely recommend it.Lakeland allows cats and small dogs:) |

| Recent Review: | | Hello I was a tennant of the Meadows townhomes and I signed a lease for ten months with the ability to make it a year and then go from there.Well it started out nice but when problems started to happen the kitchen sink leaked and it took my dad who is a plumber to come fix it because I couldnt get anyone to come and even look at it.Then our Hot water heater and furnace crapped out in the middle of the coldest times in the winter.We were without hot water for a month and without heat for two weeks.Then they told us when they were supposed to eventually get them fixed the day of we stayed home and waited until 2:00 pm and then called and the manager told my wife and I that they people werent coming and instead of appologizing she stated very rudly it wasnt her fault and she was not going to say sorry for not calling.I would never live here again and I am in the process of buying a house now and will be paying less in the ling run.It was a miserable experience and I advice all to stay away. |
