Where does one begin...Although the views are outstanding and the Doorstaff was Excellent...BE WARNED!!-MAJOR Flooring Problems!(Most tenants moved out because of this reason)That's why I moved.-Maintance staff enter apartments without permission. They also LIE!-If you do decide to rent, include a clause stating that all repairs must be completed within 24 hours, or else they will "sit" on the job until you bug them about getting it done.-Hallway floors are not vacuumed on a daily or weekly basis.- Engine Co. #1 is NEXT DOOR, you WILL hear every siren!-If there is a backup in the Lincoln Tunnel, the street becomes a NIGHTMARE!Honking, accidents, you name it!-The hallways and stairwell were PPITCH BLACK during the blackout.Despite what the "Welcome Kit" stated, there was no Emergency Lighting.-The painted stairwells became dangerously slick when wet.No sand traction was put in the paint to prevent this from occurring.Just think of it when you're waiting and waiting for the elevator (which only 3 work at any given time), so you take the stairs, only to slip and fall.-If you are having any type of repair, they use anything cheap as a replacement. The approach of on-site management is friendly, kind, and caring...that is until you've signed the lease! Then its "THE SHE-DEVIL (AKA MARNI) HASYOUR SOUL...NOW LIVE WITH IT! - GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!" And if you fight them, they will fight back with every little thing they can think of.They WILL have collectors go after you, and hire attorneys. Overall, after our stay, the general feeling is that NO ONE seems to realize that this is YOUR HOME they are dealing with. They could care less about you, and if you feel comfortable within the building. It all comes down to money. They try to squeeze every last cent out of you! |
