| Recent Review: | | We have had nothing but problems ever since we moved into my apartment at 1600 Elmwood.We should have known that management was horrible when the day we had scheduled an appointment to sign the lease, we were told the paperwork wasn't ready to be signed and that we'd have to come back later.This was a total waste of an hour of our time.The day we moved in the carpet was soaking wet from being washed.This made for an awful move in experience.Some of the windows of the apartment were open and would not close.The state of the bathroom the day we moved in was completely unacceptable.The shower was filthy, rusty and full of mildew.After being in the apartment a few days we found about 4 or 5 other maintenance issues.After complaining about these issues multiple times, it took maintenance 2 weeks to resolve the major problems and the rest we had to fix ourselves.About a month later, while cooking dinner, our stove had a small explosion.Took us days to get this fixed, all the while we were out of a stove.About a month after that, our sink started leaking, ruining all of the cleaning products that we kept on the shelves under the sink.The next problem we ran into was when one day we did two loads of wash only to find that the dryers only ate money and didn't work.Surprise, surprise, there was no maintenance available to fix them and we were left with wet laundry.Parking is a constant problem.There is never enough spots for the number of people who live here.Honestly, with all of all problems, I've heard much worse horror stories from other people who live here.The best is from one gentleman who had a garage and he tried to go to work one day only to find that the garage door wouldn't open.It took hours for him to get someone to help him so he could finally get to work.The major problem at this place is that the management is non-existent and the maintenance is horrible and unqualified.There is no scheduled maintenance on anything and the apartments are in a constant state of chaos.Managment doesn't care and it takes multiple contacts to get something fixed.As a side note, we received a survey from upper management about our experiences with the apartment.We sent the survey back along with a 3 page letter describing our grievances with our phone number and address.We never received a response.My advice to anyone reading this - DO NOT MOVE IN TO THESE APARTMENTS!! |

| Recent Review: | | I would somewhat disagree with the previous review.I am new to this place and have found everyone extremely helpful and friendly.All of the units are nice, neat and clean.I signed up to move into one unit, and noticesed that some had corner units with more windows.I asked if I could switch and the very friendly office staff said they would keep an eye out for me.Sure enought they tracked one down, called me and thats home.I am a young grad. professional and the general population is a mixture of myself and families with children.There are a lot of kids but I am on the perimiter.Everything is neat and clean.I even got 1st and 12th months free with a promo so thats like 1/6 off the listed rent price. |

| Recent Review: | | I am very dissatisfied with the complex. They treat young adults (18-25) with no respect and think because of the age we do not know what we are doing or think that we will not fight back. They are wrong. They offer false promises. We were told last month would be free, they lied. There maintence crew (or one man) sucks. They couldn't fix something correctly if they tried. After months of complaint about the unit they placed us, they had no sympathy for us, and would not solve the problem.very bad place to rent from! |

| Recent Review: | | The price and location drew us in, but I wish I had never moved to these apartments. Management sucks!!! The landlord is rude and basically a jerk. They don't maintain the premises, they don't repair anything, and when they do it's a half-ass, quick-fix. They don't plow the parking lot in a timely fashion. They basically aren't safe apartments. Most of my outlets are fire hazards, there is snow blocking our rear fire escape door, there's much more but I can't list of all them. |

| Recent Review: | | Lots of problems:1. Apt eats a lot of power.The power guy from RGE, when he made a meter read, told me that it eats too much power for the size of the apt.I had to shut off the power for a period of time, while I was not living in the unit.I knew it would eat more power than the money it took to shut it off.2. Lazy landlord.Nothing was fixed, when we requested it to be fixed.3. You don't get your deposit back.Charged me for a broken piece of wood that I didn't break.4. Hospital across the street is louder than led to believe. |
