1. Cedarwood Village
1345 Weathervane Lane
Akron  OH, 44313
21.5
Recent Review:The office staff and maintenance crew are very pleasant. The maintenance staff do lax on their jobs.Such as repairing a constantly running toilet.Last time, they tried using a paperclip to repair the float on the toilet!!And leasing is not being very responsive to complaints of strong marijuana odor coming from another apartment.Although the amenities are many, these issues alone make recommending these apartments to anyone.Renter beware..........

Recent Review:the management staff doesn't care about anything once you sign. They are fake & only pretend to care when are looking at the place.Don't expect major things fixed until you move out.Just not what as good as I thought it would be.
3. King James Court
Cumberland Dr.
Akron  OH, 44306

Recent Review:What they shown me at King James Court was not what I ended up getting after I signed that lease. The cabinets in the model were beautiful, the basement smelled good, everything actually looked new and nice like in their advertisements. But what we really got was not. We had ugly, white, old cabinets in ours. Then the basement had problems with the washer because the water wasn't going down. I called maintenance and they had people come in and they did not know what they were doing because it didn't get fixed. In my opinion they should have got professionals so that has never been fixed. We had a window that didn't even have a screen. And after the year lease was coming up I decided I can't take this unloyalty anymore. I need something that is going to treat me like I'm not trash. I'm a good person I want to be treated as one. So I decided I might leave. I called and talked to one lady about it and just asked do they do month to month leasing, one of the ladies in office and she said they do. So I called again about a week later for that and then another lady said "Oh, no we never do that. We go year to year." I said, "Is there anyway you can do a 6 month?" She said "no, we only do year to year." I thought that was wrong because another lady there just told me they did. So I decided to move, I found a place I want to go. So I called King James back up to say I am going to move. Then that same lady said that "Well we could do a 6 month." And right there I thought enough is enough. There has been more incidents than this they have been very unloyal. Make sure you look at what you're really getting before you sign the lease and read all the details in the lease before signing because they will take advantage.

Recent Review:I have lived at this apartment since March of 2004 and I really like it. For starters, the neighborhood is nice and quiet. There is ample parking and the maintenance crews do a good job keeping up with plowing the roads and parking lots during the winter. There is a water treatment plant down the road, but only now and then can you notice an odor (not in your apartment, but only when you go outside). The other tenants are respectful and everyone seems pretty nice. The general age/attitude is (I would guess) mid 20's and mostly professional/working crowd. The apartment itself was also great. It was about 1100 sq. ft. and plenty of space. We rented a loft style apartment for $585 a month, which included heat, water, and trash. Our electric bill averaged $30 a month, except in the summer when we ran the air conditioner, it went up to no more than $60. The stoves are electric also, so cooking alot may raise your electric bill past the $30 mark. We had a balcony in the back which was nice to sit out during the summertime and relax. The bedrooms were more than enough space, and we never had any problems with moving all of our furniture in. We had an roof leak, but they are fixing the roof as we speak. One other time, we had a bathroom leak that was falling into the apartment below us, but the maintenance man came first thing and fixed the leak right away. Other than that, we've had no problems with anything else. It has been very nice to live here.
