Resident managers try to avoid the needed repair work as far as possible.Try to avoid odd numbered apartments as their bedrooms face a busy sharon road and is very noisy.On flip side its good location wise with major highways, library, postal office very near by |

| Recent Review: | | People who live here are very rude and don't really care about any one else. There's this one guy who blares his stereo all night long and keeps us awake at night. We have constantly asked him to turn it down, but he just blows us off. They let anyone live here. I always feel so uncomfortable walking around. Some creeps live here. One time I was pushing my daughter in a stroller with my two younger sisters (minors), some guy was standing in front of the sliding door and pulled his pants down and he played with himself. I couldn't believe it!I don't smoke and I have a baby. The lady that shows people the apartments and sometimes delivers notices smells like an ashtray. She came to my apartment smoking her cigarette.They also have bugs here. I'm a clean person, but sometimes I can't seem to get rid of the damn roaches. They give me the creeps. They also get ants and many other bugs.Some people don't seem to realize that people live here and drive like crazy though the parking lot. I'm always worried that someone's going to get hit.The kitchen's are tiny! The oven sucks! I used to be able to bake things pretty good where I used to live, but not here.They don't get cooked evenly.The ceiling links (I don't know what the heck the people above us do.) The walls are thin as paper. You pretty much can't hang anything on the walls, and if you do and later decide to move it, you're left with very large holes everywhere. Plus, they say that these apartments are really sound proofed. Whatever! You can hear anything and everything!The airconditioner is the worst!!! We have central air, but there's a box for some reason in one of the windows. When it first turns on, it makes a very loud roaring noise. It scares me and my daughter sleeps in that room and she wakes up screaming because of it. And of course, with many old buildings, it is very drafty. During the winter it gets pretty cold and your electric bill goes pretty up. Those alluminum windows just don't cut it.The laundry area is disgusting! The poked a hole through the vent so all the air from the dryer just goes into the building instead of outside and in the summer it really gets hot. They have the worst machines and they are constantly breaking. You would think that they would just break down and buy new ones. But...no. The people that use them are rude, too. They take up the room all day long because they leave their clothes in the washer and dryer and forget to move them.We're going to move from here as soon as possible. I hate living here.The only possitives about this place is that the masterbedroom is large and the living room is large. There is a lot of storage space and you don't have to pay for water. |

| Recent Review: | | I absolutely love it here at Glenbridge.I don't know what those others are talking about ~ maybe they caused problems and are just disgruntled?My experience here has been perfect.I can't say enough good things about office staff and maintenance.They are all willing to go above and beyond....which usually isn't needed because this is already a beautiful community.Everything is brand new, the buildings are insulated well so utility bills are really reasonable, the kitchens are GORGEOUS and larger than in many houses.Having a master suite with my own bath has been dreamy!And having an attached garage is a dream come true.The laundry area is beautiful, with ceramic tile just like the kitchen and baths.This does not feel like an apartment at all, rather a private home.My patio is stunning with a beautiful view, and both of my entrances (front door off patio and garage) are private, not shared.The staff more than accommodated me, with painting, ceiling fixtures....anything I asked for.The prices are high, but you get what you pay for.I highly recommend this community!I'm very sorry to leave ~ and it's only for personal reasons unrelated to the community.I wish I could take my luxury apartment with me! |
