| Recent Review: | | No security and not enough outdoor lighting for parking lots.I have had my cars broke into at least 10 times in 3 years.Two neighbors have had their vans stolen and another attempt to another van.No maintenance in 3 years other than furnace that went out.I have had to replace the refrigerator and dishwasher with my own because theirs leaked everywhere or quit working.Pipes leak in basement and under sink.They tell you to snake your own drains.The oven works when you manually light it.The carpet is terrible and very very worn.Nothing updated.Lots of stray cats who like to spray your outside items.Smells bad! |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived here for 6 months. i live on the 2nd floor i requested that my babaster be fixed since it was coming apart from the building. that took about 2 1/2 months to get fix. Since our snow/ice storm NO ONE has iced our walkways or the parking lot. They posted a sign last month stating that our hallways were going to get painted well a month later they are painting them. OUr car has been broken into. Managment is very rude and not helful at all. I give this place from 1-10 a 4!!! |

| Recent Review: | | I moved into the Chateau in September of 2004. Thank god my lease is up soon. I have had nothing but problem after problem. my carpets were never cleaned. I had a dirty place at move in. My water heater broke down, it took them 4 months to get it fixed. They tried to change my lease in the middle to make me sign things I did not agree with. Our cars were broken into. They say there is Security there is not. Do not move here it is a HOAX |

| Recent Review: | | i think it's a great place to live, it is expensive, but it's totally worth all the money.I dont'; think i've ever heard my neighbors the whoel time i live here, all the neighbors are really nice and it's definately a safe place to live.Plus it's the upper class people living here, so you don't have any partiers and if you do, they'll take care of any complaitns you might have (which will prob. be none).I definately recommend this place to anyone who wants to live in a quiet, white neighborhood.It's definately luxurious.It's got a nice fitness center with alot of high tech equippment.You gotta move here, i swear it's f*cking awesome!!! |

| Recent Review: | | I don't live at the Meridian, but my girlfriend has for over a year, so I think I can speak to how stupid the Meridian's procedures are.The biggest frustration with this place is the visitor parking policy.So get this... Each tenant gets a parking pass right?With this pass, they are allowed to park ANYWHERE: on the sides of the buildings, in between the buildings, or in one of two garages.There are carport areas also, but those are reserved for other people (not really sure how one obtains this privilege).Now, if you want to have guests over, which I assume you do, visitors are allowed to park in between the buildings.If you count, on the western side, there are 6 spots with 3 rows, so 18 visitors spots.On the eastern side, there are slightly more spots, say about 10 per row, so 30 more.That leaves about 50 visitors spots.Now, this sounds very adequate, but get this: the tenants that have all that luxurious space park their extra cars or cars with parking tags in the visitor spots!So, when a visitor goes to park in their section, they find that there is absolutely no room because tenants have parked there.This leaves the visitor with the options of a) trying to park on the top floor of any of the garages or b) making a fake parking pass because the Cam Car people are too dumb to notice.As a visitor, you could park in the regular parkign area, but you're bound to get towed by Cam Car.You would quickly incur a 130 fee for their moronic services.Oh, and the staff at the Meridian are total idiots.Don't forget the beautiful view of the car wash on the western side where you get to listen to bad rap music while people clean their cars.The place is modern, but there is bullshit written all over the place. |

| Recent Review: | | Not surprised your car was damaged--I know a girl who just moved in (July 2005) under some welfare program because she has a baby (doesn't work/barely goes to school).Not sure how this is possible b/c I work fulltime at a good job and still can't afford to live there.I'm sure she's not the only one.Nice to know where our taxpayers' money is going to--for ghetto people to live in expensive housing!!Just be glad you're out of there and tell everyone you can how crappy it is. |

| Recent Review: | | Still living here BUT looking to get out ASAP.Noise!!!Three doors down they have a band set up in their living room instead of furniture!Yes the management knows but they are more intent on making some money instead of making their tenents happy.Too many college students that want to party all night.Not good if you have kids. |

| Recent Review: | | When I first moved to this small community, the place was wonderful. The owners were in the Cleveland area and the onsite manager (who is very friendly and a great manager) was allowed to run things as she saw fit. She and the maintenance staff lived onsite and were quite friendly. The place had a real community feel to it. Many of the tenants were also long-term; this place even had a waiting list and didn't even have to advertise in any of the rental guides! I also loved my apartment, which has lots of windows and a neat layout, and the location is great. Rents were low, and I have two cats and didn't have to pay a deposit for either of them and nothing was added to my rent, either. Then, the Cleveland owners had to sell the place, and a local--and completely incompetent-- management company took over. They canned one of the maintenance men. The onsite manager and the other maintenance person now live offsite. They micromanage; the onsite manager has been reduced to doing paperwork; she has no authority any more. We can't even drop off our rent checks to her at the onsite office; we have to drive to the northwest side of town (from the far east side) to drop it off at the corporate office.I don't want to mail my payment, because if they don't get it by the 5th of the month, they charge $25 late fee--even if the payment is postmarked the 25th. Worst of all, one of the units (each has 24 apts.) burnt almost completely down this spring and a 25 year old woman died in the fire. There have been several other fires here as well. The management company couldn't wait to start rebuilding. Since then, they've had arson inspectors coming around questioning the tenants and being quite rude. Nearly everyone who lived here when I moved in is gone now, and this place now rents to anyone. Also, once the new company took over, I've not gotten a lease from them except right at first; I had to badger them about it and it was three months late! Since that time, they've never given me another lease and that was nearly 3 years ago. I plan to move ASAP. |
