| Recent Review: | | At first look, this apartment is great!It's clean, big, fairly priced, and ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED!But don't be fooled.Within 2 months of moving in, the entire management staff was changed, and we were never notified.It's a little creepy when some random guy is rumaging around in the basement, and you have no clue who he is.During the snowstorms, the walks/driveway was never plowed, and the new maintenence guy told us it wasn't his job!I wouldn't recommend using the "laundry facilities".When they weren't unplugged, tipped over, or so full of quarters that they didn't work, they left white steaks all over my dark clothes.I can't decide which I like more...The inconsiderate neighbors who allow their small children to run screaming down the hall at any hour of the day/night?I think when the parent open the door and yelled for the child to come back, rather than going to retrieve him, was when I drew the line.The part that takes the cake, though....About 35 days before our lease ran out, we happened to pull it out.We noticed that the lease would be automatically renewed unless we provided written notice 30 days in advance of move out.So, we wrote a letter saying we would be leaving on the last day of the least.This was 31 days prior.A week later, we received a letter (in there most common correspondence of leaving a piece of paper thrown in front of our door while we were home) saying our lease would be renewed for 12 more months at a higher monthly rate!I am so sick of this place, and I would not recommend moving here.Sure, it looks great, but I'm sure you won't enjoy it when November rolls around, and it drops to 30 degrees, and you don't have heat for 3 days.Or, when Cleveland's weather fluxuates from 40 to 75 and back in a matter of a day, and the heat is off for the 40, they turn it on, then don't turn it off for the 75!!!In short, DON'T MOVE HERE!!!! |

| Recent Review: | | In comparison to other apartments I've lived in the management is pretty poor.The service people are great, but I've found their administration lacking.The building is safe and they have begun to make improvements in building safety.In appearance, the apartments are great, but the hallways and enterance leave little to be desired.This apartment was found for me by a service.I would have not choosen this building on my own. |

| Recent Review: | | It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't dictate when to turn the AC off.I only rented here because it's one of the few buildings in Shaker Heights with central air.Unfortunately Montlack Reality determines when to turn the central air on and off.I lived in an apt. that faced south so the sun came in my home all day.Those fools turned the AC off in mid-september, so for a good month it was 80-90 degrees on average.On one hot weekend it hit 100.Their response?Some people on the north side are cold.My response?Let them put on a sweater, I'm dying in here.My other complaint is that they made us pay $10/month for an outdoor parking space.I can see charging for an indoor space or for a second outdoor space, but it's a little absurd to charge for one outdoor space.That should have been included. |
