| Recent Review: | | Living over Crosswinds (6121 N May, 73112) was really a nightmare, I just hated it! I am so glad I moved out! The apartments over there were absolutely noisy and unsafe. A few days before I moved out, cops came over Crosswinds and told me to be careful as the neighbor sharing my patio raped a girls living in the complex and they were looking for him. This shows that the staff is really unprofessional as they are supposed to check peoples criminal record before letting them move in! Also, I have seen from my balcony some residents doing and dealing drugs in their cars in the parking of the complex almost every night! As a girl, I felt very unsafe living at Crosswinds every time my husband went to work. Not only Crosswinds is a drug dealers shelter, but it also accommodates professional thieves. Indeed, Ive had my furniture stolen when I left my apartment for only 10mn, to go to the store across the street! Another thing, do not believe Crosswinds staff when they tell you this complex is apeaceful and quiet place . It is NOT! The neighbors and the cars are SO loud 24/7, and they dont show any kind of respect for the community. If you want to sleep over Crosswinds, I strongly advice you to get some good sleeping pills! I mean, you can hear kids scream till 6 in the morning as they are always hyper and never sleep, or hear the neighbors playing loud music just like at the clubs! I will never forget that night, when I went to my balcony and saw my neighbor and his drunken friends throwing beers and peeing from their balcony! That was not as quiet as the management told me& In fact, I should have invited the staff to spend a night over my place. Maybe, they would have agreed with me on thequietnessof the complex after that.I am so shocked Crosswinds management never ever tried to calm the disturbances in the complex to make it a better, safer, and secure place for the residents!Every time I tried to talk to the staff, they have been really rude, and they never took in account any of my maintenance requests and complaints. They are clearly unprofessional because they dont make the residents feel welcome and it is just useless to ask them for help as they are never willing to help.This is really sad that they dont renovate the apartments because they are so old and the equipments are getting inefficient. And it is sadder that the residents have to remind and even beg the staff several times before they come and fix the problems. One day, my oven was not working no more, and I called the Crosswinds office so that they come fix it because I was having guests for diner the same night. The maintenance never showed up and it took them a week to finally come over my apartment to fix it. I cant believe the staff was giving me an attitude and getting made because I asked them to fix my oven.It started to be unbearable and I could not wait for my lease to expire so I could leave this nightmare. Also, I was very embarrassed to have my friends coming over my place because the walkways are littered with cigarettes ends, dirt, insects and garbage, and are almost never cleaned. I talked to many residents about it when I was still living there, and all of them were very unhappy about the management and the conditions of living over Crosswinds. The management only thinks about taking peoples money and doesnt feel bad to get rid of some residents whenever they feel like it. Most of the time, the management office closed way before it was supposed to and it was hard to get hold of the staff. And when I did, they had an attitude and never helped. This complex really needs renovations, some security the nights, and I would even suggest changing the staff. If the residents were really happy about leaving there, how the management does explains the number of people packing up their stuff and leaving as soon as possible everyday? I truly dont recommend people living at Crosswinds because they will never get the service they expect! |

| Recent Review: | | I travel with work, and i've lived in many apartments, and this apartment complex is so awful I felt I had to post to warn others.Its a fairly new complex, within the last 4 years it has been built.The carpet in the unit was torn in over a dozen spots, and the carpet is between 1 and 2 inches short of reaching the wall in 2 spots, but that could just be this unit, the appliances are in poor shape, dishwasher has never worked since day one, despite 2 service calls for the maintenance crew to come out, and the water heater doesn't hold enough hot water to take a shower for longer than 5 minutes.Those are the main problems with the apartment unit i'm in, and its a large complex, so i'm sure i just have one bad unit.The problems concerning the overall complex are as follows.No parking, which was a specific question i asked about before I signed the lease, and both leasing agents clearly lied, claiming there was enough parking spaces at each buildings lot for the number of people in thebuildings.The buildings surrounding my parking lot aren't even full, yet there are constant shortages of parking.2 parking spots at each building are taken by dumpsters, and if you try to squeeze in between the dumpster and the closest parking space, the truck that empties the dumpster will damage your vehicle at predawn hours, it hasn't happened to me, but it has to 2 others i know of.The security gates never work, and the remote control gate clickers they give out are junk, they last rarely longer than a week.There is street parking, but if you arrive home after 6 pm, you will be parking several blocks away many nights.Crime has picked up in the last few weeks, i have a unit facing the street, and i have had one attempted break-in at 2:30 am.Noise is a huge problem.Cops refuse to come out, they claim that noise is something you should expect living in this area, while the bricktown police station is within 5 blocks, they never travel down these streets surrounding the complex except in daylight hours, which is very frustrating.There are several nightclubs surrounding the complex, one of which stays open til 2 a.m., and the intoxicated patrons of the nightclub stand out in the street for another hour or hour and a half often, leaving beer bottles all over the apartment grounds, defacating and urinating in the streets and surrounding areas, while leaning on vehicles of those that park on the streets.Something myself and most of the other residents found out when the tornado sirens sounded during the summertime, the tornado shelters are used as a storage closet/office for the maintenance workers, and is padlocked where it cannot be used.So there are no safe spots during a tornado, which any oklahoman knows are very common. Management still hasn't done anything about that despite complaints from residents. |

| Recent Review: | | In the first two months i lived here my roommates car antenna was ripped off the car and super glue was put on the key hole of the car door. Also the water shut off with no notice in the morning while i was taking a shower and one week later there was no water again. The security gate is a joke. The enterance gate works sometimes but the exit gate always remains open because it's broken. Also, after one week of living here we discover that our neighbors were loud druggies. Our other neighbor informed us that all of the ground floor apartments in our building had been broken into within the last year.Yet when we asked the leasing agent about break-ins and security she said there were almost no problems. |

| Recent Review: | | This place is awful....just awful.High crime, uncaring management and terrible maintenance crew.Condition of unit made me cry and I was told that since I had signed the lease, that they weren't obligated to do anything else.Children hassle you for money and nothing is done and YOU are the victim.Trust me...do NOT rent here. |

| Recent Review: | | My husband and I lived here for almost two years and moved last summer. The apartments look pretty nice but they are not in a very safe neighborhood. My husbands car was broken into, as well as 3 other cars in our section all within a week. The security is hardly ever to be found! There was even a woman who was raped right before we moved out. One night we think we even heard gunshots in the parking lot. We didn't feel safe at all.We never had a problem with maintence. They always fixed our problems the very same day and were pretty nice to us. However, our apartment became infested with earwigs and wolf spiders, even after having our apartment sprayed. There are a couple of the staff members who are nice and helpful but some are down right rude and a little lazy.If you are looking to move to the OKC area, I would highly suggest living in Edmond. |

| Recent Review: | | These corporate furnished apartments are wonderful. They come with the option of fully furnished or you may furnish your own apartment. The complex has three beautiful courtyards and two large simming pools. They are also very quick to act if there is ever something wrong with something in your apartment. I would definately recommend these apartments to anyone who was looking. I plan to stay here for several mor years. |

| Recent Review: | | I first began renting here in May 2004, a 1 bedroom, 1 bath with den, and having looked at numerous apartments in the southside/okc metro area for both myself and relatives, I haven't found any place that matches Montclair Parc.My apartment seemed very new, the architecture both inside and out was unique and open.They even agreed to let me paint the rooms if I liked, something many apartments would keep you from. I have heard noise from my neighbors below me (I'm on the third floor, nobody above), but it's by no means regular or intrusive.Occasionally a motorcycle or car with loud engine will drive through the complex, but again, most of the tenants seem responsible enough not to do it at 3am, and I challenge you to find an apartment that can control for that.I also remember last year they placed notes on everyone's doors asking everyone to be courteous of their neighbors, noise-wise.I asked at the office their policy, and was told the first time was a warning and after that more serious consequences would be taken. I can't speak for every tenant's experience or even every building, but mine has been nothing but friendly people and low noise.In the end, I suppose the biggest endorsement I can give the place is that I'm still living there now and re-upped my lease for another year. |

| Recent Review: | | please whatever you do, in all seriousness, do not move your family here. i lived here for my 6 month lease and it was the worst mistake of my life. they move hispanics in one section, blacks in one section, and whites in the other. therefore theres so many problems because people get in their clans and become very racist. idiots bring over shopping carts from the neighbor hood walmart up the street and the kids push each other around in them. you just sit and wait to hear DING. and you know thats them hitting your car. pot is smoked nightly out at the swimming pool; by kids ranging 11-18 and older. its so sad. the secretary, office lady, kristi! ha!! shes the meanest person you will ever come across, literally. she and her husband are in there all day with the door locked and their baby screaming and hes the only maintenance guy. its impossible to get help and the owners, guy and jeff...they live in like arkansas or something.. SLUM LORDS BIG TIME. 99% of their tenants are section 8 so its very very very very unsafe and disease infested. PLEASE, DO NOT MOVE HERE...AND ITS NO JOKE. ITS GROSS. just stroll thru there one night and you'll see what i mean |
