| Recent Review: | | Phase 1 apartments are gross!(Phase 2 are nice looking but I didn't live there)They don't look like they even care about how the place looks. It smells and there are random cats and dogs that just roam the apartments.Oh yeah the management stinks as well.THey're not helpful and are rude to numerous people.Find a better place to live...NOT APPLE CREEK! |

| Recent Review: | | These apts. should be called Ghetto North instead. I was sold on a dream and once moved in, found out my new reality. The Manager is a B^TCH and does not care about the people who live here. The Maint. guy smells (literally) and never seems to fix things completely. Staff try hard but they are only as good as their leader (reflect back to 1st comment) There are drug deals, wild kids, cop cars galore...and that's just the frosting on the cake, not the cake itself. I hope this review helps. I remember back when 40 North was the nicest place around...such sweet memories.... |

| Recent Review: | | Where shall I begin....-They are changing the door handles/keys on all of the buildings. But apparently - please note extreme sarcasm - they thought it would be too easy to warn their residents of when they would be changing their doors/keys, or how to get their new keys when it happened. They locked whole buildings of people out of their apartments with the new keys, and then got pissed (and took 30 minutes just to get here) when they had to come back after hours to get those people into their apartments.-While they were working on installing the new keys they cut holes around the deadbolts in people's doors...AGAIN WITHOUT WARNING...and they proceeded to leave their doors, and possessions, unlocked and unguarded. (i.e. they just went around cutting holes in a bunch of doors and then just leaving them all to go cut more holes)-Our apartment had fleas when we moved in-We called multiple times for emergency maintenance b/c our door wouldn't shut but they never came and we had to fix it ourselves-There's always trash on the lawns-Loud parties are constantly occurring-The office staff is often rude...as in, "how dare you come in here and ask me to get off my butt to help you for 5 minutes."I once stood and waited for a good 10 minutes while they ignored me, finally asked me what I needed, talked to each other about irrelevant things, and then begrudgingly went and got my package.-Don't know if it's true, but they have a reputation for "losing your rent payment" and then charging you late fees if you don't force them to give you a receipt-When the washer in the apartment above us flooded it ran right through our fusebox and smoke detector, setting off our fire alarm. It took maintenance 30+ minutes to come to our apartment, only for him to stand on our chair with his dirty shoes, take down the smoke detector, lay it on our counter, and wipe his dirty hands on our chair. He told us someone would be in to clean the carpet in the morning.Apparently when Jefferson Commons says they'll "clean the carpet" they actually mean they will just bring in a huge carpet dryer to dry the dirty water right into the carpet and make us pay the electric bill for it.My former roommates say that two months later our smoke detector is still sitting on the counter. Can you say fire hazard!?!So I repeat...Jefferson Commons is a horrible place to live!It looks like a nice place to live, but don't be fooled. It'll look pretty when you get there, but then fall apart as soon as you pay them and sign your UNBREAKABLE CONTRACT. |

| Recent Review: | | My apartment was awesome. Most people don't take a good look at the Terrace because the outside looks kind of run-down.However, the inside of the apartments is very nice. They are very large while being reasonably priced. My roommate and I looked all over Stillwater before we rented and this was by far the best deal we found. The only bad thing is that there is no on-site laundry.Harry, the realtor, was wonderful. As long as you call and tell him you need something done, he always does it as fast as he can.He is very nice and always willing to negotiate if you have a problem.Sewer and Water are paid.Location is great--I did not have a car my last semester at OSU and I walked to and from campus every day.Prices closer to campus are insane. If you do live here, 2 things I can recommend: if you are a partier, live on the front side (facing Husband). This is where most other partiers live, probably because it is easier for people to find their apartment this way.If you like quiet, live on the back side, away from the partiers. This was a wonderful place to live and I highly recommend it. |
