| Recent Review: | | These apartments are really nice and the managers are so friendly and very helpful.There is always someone around if you have a problem.The inside of the apartments are nice and lots of room and small pets are okay here.I recommend these apartments to my friends who are looking for a new place to live. |

| Recent Review: | | The area is amazing and within walking distance of the grocery store.One of the downfalls of the place is lack of privacy (can't open blinds without looking into someone else's apartment or them looking into yours) and it gets a little stuffy due to the placement of windows in some units. |

| Recent Review: | | While the units are tiny and rather overpriced, the fact that I had no real reason to leave the NW area for any of my essential needs made this place perfectly.Trader Joe's is a block away, and Fred Meyer's isn't that much further.There are 4 pizza places within blocks, and many great happy hours that are worth checking out.The noise level was surprisingly low for being a step off of 23rd, and for someone who is living alone it's a very cozy and enjoyable place to stay.The Building is managed by Capitol, and they were just wonderful people to work with.They answered all of my questions before hand, and offered more information than any other apartment company I've worked with. |

| Recent Review: | | Decent size townhome, however both bathrooms were upstairs.very limited parking due to entrance on a steep hill.Great location, right between downtown, the Pearl district, and major highways. medium sized patio/deck that overlooks grassyhill.Large upstairs windows. |

| Recent Review: | | I lived in the Civic for 9 months.It is an OK choice for being close to doowntown light-rail and it's cheap, but cheap comes at a price...My apartment and several other are infested with roaches which I was not told about.The utilities are a percentage based system, meaning even if you used no utilities you still get charged and generally it's a very high bill.The mangement is less than helpfull although the maintenence crew is nice and fairly speedy.Fred meyer's across the street is nice, and it is close to about 6 different bars if that is your thing, but the neighborhood is less than nice.Expect drug dealers and prostitutes around the builing and frequently living in the building.Overall I would avoid the Civic unless it is a last resort. |

| Recent Review: | | I was talked into moving into this apartment by the management.I would be getting a great deal because I qualified for low income rental.I was told that I would get free phone service, but I found that wasn't the case when I moved in, but I did need a phone in order to receive guests at the door.The first day I encountered someone in the hall trying to sell me what I thought was hot goods.I soon met some of the neighbors who asked to use my phone.After this neighbors came to ask to use my phone--realized later they were trying to make drug deals--, borrow money or try and sell me broken down sterio equipment and whatever.The lady downstairs from me would walk in as soon as I opened the door and start looking through my cupboards for food while at the same time she would beg me for another loan.After living here a couple of months there was a knock on my door and I didn't bother to open the door at first because I was tired of the neighbors always wanting something.I finally walked up to the door and I could hear a key turning the lock and in walked the assistant manager.He didn't even bother to acknowledge me as if walking into my apartment was acceptable routine.He walked into my bathroom and started jiggling the handle on the toilet like he was checking it out.I would later catch this guy putting his ear up to my door and apparently spying on me.The day that I moved out, the assistant manager Dan and Marie the manager took off for their local hangout or wherever right before I could arrange for getting my deposits back and show them how I had cleaned my apartment to a pristine state.The rule they have there is to put correspondence through the slot in the office door if the management is out.I wrote down a forwarding address for where my $462 deposite could be sent and left town the next day and left for the midwest to work on my brother's farm.A couple of weeks later a friend called me...where my mail was to be forwarded.There was a letter from Dawson Creek apartment stating how I was late on that months rent and would be fined so much for late fees.I told my friend to go over them and tell them that I really had moved out and that they needed to send me my deposits.Instead they turned me over to a collection agency saing that I owed them for another months rent plus cleaning, late fees, etc. totaling $639 dollars.I.e., COMPLETE BOGUS CHARGES!This is only half of the bad news about this place and I was not at all surprised that these people would try and scam me, but I'm not trying to write a book here. |
