| Recent Review: | | These apartments have had cockroaches, rats, mold eating through the walls, and the criminal element is very high. Alot of drugs and such. A man also got drunk one night and decided to blow up his own car in the parking lot. |

| Recent Review: | | This is an older building that looks great at first glance. The apartments are spacious with hardwoods and nice vintage fixtures. However, even on the second floor, my unit is damp to the touch after two days of rain. The windows all need to be replaced, the water runs incredibly rusty and never gets very hot.The landscaping is beautiful and has good outdoor lighting that is safe without being intrusive. The trees out front drip so much sap in the summer, when I made the mistake of parking under one overnight, I couldn't see out my back window in the morning. My neighbors have been quiet, although there are two dogs in the complex that bark excessively.Great location and close to bus lines, but not worth the price. |

| Recent Review: | | I've lived in many crappy apartments over the years, and this is this the absolute worst! We chose it because, coming from a different state, we had a limited amount of time to chose a place.Perhaps, the biggest problem is the neighbors' noise level. The next door 'neighbors' have the loudest and worst behaved dogs I've ever seen -- outside for 11 hours at a time and barking the entire time-span.One of the other neighbors has a *very* loud phlegm problem and I just wish that he'd fucking die already!!! We've had issues with the apartment itself. The owner was quick to fix problems that we alerted her to (like holes in the kitchen cupboard with weeds growing out of them, rats and a backed-up shower), but she said that she had no prior knowledge, which we doubt. Also, the grounds are a fire-hazard, with bone-dry weeds up to your knees. |

| Recent Review: | | If you own a car you shouldn't move here. This place is absolute parking hell: For $100 extra per month you may get one of the 12 spaces in the garage that 90 other tenants are waiting to get. The streets around are all metered. Accross the freeway is a permit-only area, but guess what: You can't get a permit because you live one frickin block outside that area. - Sucks big time!On the upside, it's close to just about everything Downtown, so you may not even need a car. I needed my car for work and moved out mainly because of paying on average $80 a month in parking tickets and fees and spending my spare time running around re-parking my car from one street to the other. This place is income-restricted, so it's got the usual mix of low-life scum among the tenants. But quite some decent folks live there too. (Hey, I used to... :-)The fire alarms go off at least once a month in the middle of the night for no reason. Otherwise the noise level is what one would expect in a fairly large apartment building. Not too loud but no total silence either. All in all, it's ok if you're single (the units are really small) without a car and short on cash and want to live close to everything.A.M. |
