| Recent Review: | | It's ok. We've lived here 6 years and it's gotten old. It's oddly shaped and very hard to furnish because it's long and narrow. The walls are thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing (and vice versa). We are in the middle of the Pearl district and it's non stop construction, so kinda noisy. The staff is nice though and they are fairly prompt on repairs and stuff. The laundry room sucks (the dryers never work and it's always dirty) but convenient because there aren't any laundry mats near by. |

| Recent Review: | | This apartment complex is terribly run by an extremely incompetent staff.Fire alarms regularly go off, disrupting everyone, management frequently loses rent & expects you to pay for it.The units themselves are crap; windows leak, paper thin walls. They are unfriendly & unhelpful.Nothing is ever done about noise complaints. Please move on with your apartment search - don't even bother with Pearl Court. |

| Recent Review: | | Mediocre place, no carpet pad, concrete underneath, cheap carpet with stains, older appliances, tiny kitchen, bath, awesome city view if you're high enough and facing east or north. Very hot in summer if facing west, the old blocky A/C units do actually work though the occupy a rather large portion of the balcony, and maintenance is actually pretty quick and helpful should there be problems (unlike the office staff). In SW Downtown very near the waterfront park, freeway access, PSU. Office staff are for the most part very bitchy and not helpful. There was one guy who worked there who was actually friendly. I did get a 'special' 650 sq ft one bed rent 689/mo and a parking spot was 55/monthly. |

| Recent Review: | | It is awfull! Unsupervised children every where... it takes forever to get repairs done and finished. THe on site managers are very nice people but they have to go through the management company. Not a good place to live. |

| Recent Review: | | I've been at Riverplace for a year, and the biggest complaint here with the tenants is the price.Although it may not seem like it at first, there are a lot of hidden fees, that they tend to "gloss" over. The location is great, BUT it is noisy. There area a lot of conventions, functions and gatherings that are at the Tom McCall park and it gets very noisy. The parking is included with the rent and everyone gets there own spot, but the garage door is always broken. The door is either always open, or always closed. If it is always closed no one can get in, and you have to pay for parking or park in the street.(Ive happened to me several times when getting home late at night, which is the worst thing in the world coming home tired, and not being able to get into your apartment!).If it's always opened anyone can get in, and that makes it very dangerous. The complex was broken into several times as well.We got several notices of break-ins.In the notice they stated that they were not responsible for the anything, that we should contact the police if anything happens. The biggest problem was the storage units, for some time people where stealing from the storage units. The Maintenance staff is great, very professional and knowledgeable. The place is always very clean and well maintained; I never had a problem with that. One time my sink was clogged and they were able to fix it with in a day.If you do have a problem talk to someone directly, do not leave a message with their answering service, I tried that once and they lost the message&As with most apartment complexes, if you want a great location, you are going to have to pay more and compromise on customer service. With busy areas, you will have more noise and the possibility of theft and break-ins are more likely to happen. If you are looking for a place in Portland, I recommend walking around the area and looking at all the complexes available.Hope this helps in your search! |

| Recent Review: | | We moved to Portland July of last year. We had no idea which areas are good and which are bad. We've ended up in the bad area. Appt. complex we're in now is nice. On the outside, that is..... in the winter, we had wind poring through every window and door crack - very poor insolation, plus you hear every noise and voice outside your windows... strangers can easily get into your porch. Worst of all, we fee like we've been tricked into moving there - few month after we moved in, construction work started RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR WINDOWS!!!!!!! we're situated on the corner and all the dirt and junk flies onto our porch, we can't even open windows!!!! they start early in the morning so we wake up to the "lovely" sounds of bulldozers. we thought we've ended up in the nice community where young professionals live, boy, were we wrong. the management sure knows how to tell lies. they knew for sure about the upcoming construction, and they knew what kind of people they allow to reside there. any ways, we hate it there and ask you...... HELP US!!!!!we're looking to move into the nice place on the NW or SW.Thank you and hope to hear from you soon. |

| Recent Review: | | Apartments are oversized (1300+ sq ft). Many have a W/D in apartment.Apartments themselves are a little bit older.(My ceiling was leaking at one point during a rain storm, but was fixed fairly quickly)Windows are single pane and do not inulate at all.Difficult to heat apartments efficiently |
