Recent Review: Moldy, falling apart, very poorly maintained.When things need fixed they get ripped out of one apartment, already dirty, with pieces missing, and thrown into another apartment.Building was condemned for 10 days about a year ago, tenants were forced to vacate and sleep on friends or family's couches while they slowly tried to get the electric back on.Avalon borough had claimed that they had gotten away with it in the past because they are privately owned and maintained so they didn't have to go through building inspections.Avalon reassured us that they would be taking over after this last stunt and an inspection would be done and either they would bring everything else up to code or shutting the place down.Well, a year has passed and nothing has been done . . . aren't there laws against this???
