| Recent Review: | | These apartments are inexpensive relative to other apartments in Edinboro.However, the apartments have major quality issues.The heating is electric and the manner in which the heat is distributed is by wires embedded in the ceiling which heat up and thereby heat the apartment.The problem is, heat rises and these wires are already at the highest point in the room, therefore the heat merely sits at the ceiling while the tenant freezes.The electric bill for the winter runs approximately 120$ a month if you are conservative.Also, my opinion is that this method of heating would be a fire hazard.I occupied a second floor apartment, however many other tenants complained of the moisture and humidity in the lower level apartments.Some of these complaints were condensation on the ceilings and extensive mold growth on floors, ceilings and cabinets.Granted, the price is rather inexpensive, however the cost of heating and/or water damage considerably makes up any money that was saved.In my opinion, I would look elsewhere. |
