Recent Review: The only reason I am here is because I needed a short-term rental.Maintenance is very poor.It took me 3 weeks when I first moved in to get all closet doors back on track so they opened and closed; got dead bolt on door to work (it had been painted sealed shut), needed to provide my own repairs so that phone worked (they told me there was nothing wrong, even though my service was very intermittent).Air conditioners crash and bang when on and one in bedroom is too loud to use while sleeping (this is after "repairs").Cockroaches live and dead when I first moved in.Thank goodness I've been able to get rid of them and the mouse who came to visit as well.Can be very noisy.Rent to students during school terms and there are often loud, drunken parties during the week and management refuses to do anything but tell you to call the police.Also there are two Korean restaurants in the basement/ground floor level of one building.I found pungeant and disturbing cooking odors coming into my apartment constantly (on an upper floor!) through the heat piping system until I sealed them off with plastic and rags.Horrible to have to live this way.Hopefully I'm out of here in a month or two.Have to pay to get a card to use the laundry facilities, which, because the basement reeks of fish sauce, I have declined to use and have to haul laundry out to nearest laundromat a couple of miles away to assure that my clothing smells clean.
