| Recent Review: | | I second the first reviewer. I am presenting living there. My apartment is not on the road side but little in and still i get a lot of noise from the road.When i have friends are my place, they ask me to open windows for fresh air and soon after they request me to close because we have to speak loud to hear each other.Make sure you get a build fairly inside the complex.Marquis resident. |

| Recent Review: | | This was the single worst apartment experience I have ever had.Not only was the apartment itself unsatisfactory, the management and administration was worst.The office did not have posted hours, and the personnel was inconsitent upon when they chose to be there.One worker instigated numberous incidents with my roommate.I would not have chosen this complex upon meeting the staff, but my wife (then fiance) was already in a contract.Upon first moving in the apartment itself seemed fine, but things went downhill from there.The dryer was improperly installed and quickly caused the development of mold throughout the apartment.The windows leaked, and mold quickly developed in the bathrooms.It tooks several reports and a certified letter to get any response from the office.And when the workers finally did come, the maintenance was poorly performed (basically, painting over the mold...).The complex was not well lit and my car was broken into.Parking was barely available, if you get back home after 6pm you better be prepared for a hike.I could go on and on, but I would recommend that this complex not be moved into under almost any circumstance. |

| Recent Review: | | The floors sqeak when you walk (no, I'm not even close to being overweight), thermostat doesn't work correctly (constantly runs on 80+!), and carpet pad doesn't run to walls (gap under baseboards).Maintenance couldn't fix problem with leaky sink. The apt # signs were replaced....mine was taken down left on the ground... a month later....still on ground....contacted office 4 times.They never got back to me when they said they would.These apts look nice but it's not worth the cheapness and non-responsive staff!Oh yeah, why have gates if they are never closed! |

| Recent Review: | | I love my apartment at Towne Oaks. Towne Oaks is centrally located but tucked in the corner of 183 and I-35. My apartment is one story so no one is Knocking around above me. It is very quiet . I just threw a baby shower for my best freind in the fully equiped clubhouse that iI reserved for 25.00. What a deal!!!!!!!!! If you are looking in Austin. Go to Towne Oaks. The staff is awesome. |

| Recent Review: | | I am writing about the best kept secret in Austin.I live at Towne Oaks II. It is a very small apartment complex like only 100 apts.It looks like Melrose place but without the drama . Last night they had a happy hour by the fountains. There was soft jazz playing they had food and wine and beer. It was so nice to come home to. I met alot of my nieghbors. The apartments are huge inside i have a 2x2 that is 1200 sqaure feet.Towne oaks II is awesome!!!!!! |

| Recent Review: | | This apartment is not a great place to live.The management is horrible.I have been to management about the washers in the lanundry room, tellingthem the water comes out to slowout of the machine.They have not fixed this problem yet.I had an A/C problem on a Saturday that I call the office about, and they told me maintenance was coming out, but never did.Went by the office at 1P, on a Sunday and they were to be opened from 1P to 5P.No one was in the office.Call the office when I got to my apartment, and the answering machine came on.I called the after hours maintenance emergency number.Told them it was 94 degrees in the apartment, and it was over 90 degrees outside.I am a diabetic and could die of a heat stroke.A man from the after hours maintenance called me, and aske me if anyone from the Trestles call me, and I said no.I call the office and spoke with a woman name Diane, and I told her about the A/C she said she knew about this.I asked her if she had any idea when they were coming.She said she spoke with the person about 15 minutes ago, and he was coming from South Austin.I told her I came by the office, and she said she came in a 11:30 and was on the property checking it out.She left no message on the door to indicate someone was in. I told her I wanted to get a telephone number to contact Walden Management Company.She said I could talk to Elizabeth on Monday.The lease is up in one month, and I will go month to month until I find another apartment.Therefore, I would not recommend living at these apartments. |
