| Recent Review: | | Don't move here unless you want to be subjected to misanthropic drop-outs.I just moved in and already the entrance gates have never been fixed more than a day and the exit gates are stuck open all of the time, I have had to 'Raid' my entire place for ants (because they obviously did not do a pest spray before I moved in), my microwave got so hot that it burnt out (note: microwaves should not get more than luke-warm on the outside when in use), they do lawn maintence over the entire complex every other day and they start earlier and earlier each time, people let their dogs dump everywhere and never pick it up, people will park their big trucks in two of the tiny spaces and the management will not do anything about it, people will also park their cars and leave them in the same space for more than two months and I have already had a run-in with 'CJ' the apartment manager.About the 'run-in'. They decide to repaint the complex and give a time period of about A WEEK (!!!); I have tons of plants. When I originally called about what to do with my plants and to get a better estimate on the days the painters would be out, I was told that they would only be painting the trim and the railings. When I called the day painting began the apt. manager (CJ) told me they were painting everything and I had to pull everything inside or else deal with the consequences. When I asked about the Directv dish (that we were told by the installer to not move unless we paid a worker to come out and fix it again) she said move it or deal with it being painted.This manager is not helpful and could not offer any suggestions or solutions and then, when my husband called in and spoke to one of the 'Goldie Hawns' that work there she said the painters do cover what is left on the porch and no one has yet to report any missing or damaged Directv dishes. What?! God forbid the God-forsaken management tell me this!! God forbid the manager actually care about the comfort of a resident and the painters didn't cover the two plants I couldn't move into my apartment because they were too heavy (and I couldn't afford to pay movers to move them from the porch and then pay to move the plants back in a week).This management is horrible and the staff are all little, brainless, blonde girls. This property is illogically run and gives business women a bad name. It is like the complex is run by Goldie Hawn from Laugh-In.What is Equity thinking?! Does Equity not understand common procedural protocol for resident managment. Where does this 'you-should-feel-priveleged-to-live-here' mentality come from?!! I have traveled all over the world and the only places I have seen this type of brutal, misanthropic mentality is in the overcrowded cities of New York or Moscow. This is Austin,TX!!! Get over yourself!My husband and I are preparing a letter of complaint that we will send to the Equity Corporation.DON'T MOVE HERE! |

| Recent Review: | | The review that rates Melrose PLace Apts with 5's has obviosly either moved from Baghdad in recent months, or works for the complex.I resides there for 3 years, and watched them raise my lease by 25 percent after 12 months.Security is non-existent, as my vehicle was buglarized twice (broke my window to dig around in my glove compartment)The management is less than fair, and literally plays favorites with customers whom they buddy with.Beyond this, my wife and I were subjected with some rather disturbing remarks from mgmtconcerning the fact that we were an inter-racial couple.I didn't know they were into passing judgement on folks for their personal choices. |

| Recent Review: | | The apartments may look cute and fun at first, but the longer you live there the more you realize it's a shit hole.My car was broken into twice while I lived there, at least once a week I saw a new car with a broken window.Most people who live there work at night and come home at three in the morning and start having loud crazy parties, but only on week nights.My roommate had to call the cops one night because there were gunshots in the apartment near us.One day (with no notice from the management) I woke up at 8 in the morning to loud banging outside.The maintenance people were replacing the concrete in front of our door and were breaking the concrete, I couldn't leave all day because the concrete had to dry.As much fun as the look like do NOT live there. |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived here for 3 years and I LOVE it here! The staff is friendly and always smiles and waves to me. The maintenance is great; they usually have whatever I need fixed with in a day or two. It is always really quiet and clean here. The best part is they dont charge you an arm and a leg like most of the better places to live do. I recommend this place to anyone. |

| Recent Review: | | The office staff is difficult to deal with, the number of car breakins are outrageous.They say they have a security person, it is an off duty cop that walks the area 2 times per night.They are old, thin walls, bad insulation.The nice girl from the office doesnt even work there anymore, she transferred to another complex. |

| Recent Review: | | The manager is terrible. You have to request things to be fixed many times and it doesn't always get fixed.Manager is an old, grumpy jerk, but the secretary is nice. The apartment may not nessarily be cleaned when you move in. For example, there was a nasty chocolate milk stain that was OBVIOUSLY not cleaned when I moved in.The walls are paper thin so you can hear the conversations of people standing outside across the complex.Finally, they do not always give you a 24 hour notice before showing others your apartment for future renting.I would not recommend living there at all. |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived at Pebble Creek for 3 years and I love living here.I have lived in several different floor plans and have loved them all.The few maintenance request I have had we completed the same day.The office staff is great and always willing to help in any way possible.The location is awesome and the landscape is so austin with huge trees and a creek to walk around. |
