| | | | Review Title: Nice Apartments But Poor Staff Attitude | | | | | | Reviewer: Anonymous | | | | Review Date: 11/15/03 | | | | | | | Rate This Apartment | | | | | | | The unit themselves are stylish and laid out quite nicely.The molding and ceiling accents, as well as the under cabinet lighting in the kitchens, add to this complexes uniqueness.The ground themselves are very clean and though there are the occasional items left over in the pool area from discourteous tenants, on the whole, the complex grounds are well kept.There are trash pickups on Tuesdays and Thursday.There is only a single garbage bin and it is located on the far west side of the complex.While there is only a single pool for the entire community, it never seems to be crowded.The fitness center is rather small and limited.The aerobic equipment is not really maintained and there is not much in the way of weight training items.This is not a complex that puts an emphasis on social events.The few that are coordinated are off site or in frequent.The clubhouse is not available for rental. This is surprising as the marketing material emphasis the club house, but it is of almost no practical use other than holding the leasing office.The pricing for the units is not as competitive as it should be when compared to the more higher end luxury apartments (such as Addison circle and Austin Ranch).The lease pricing per square footage is still not lower than the other high-end complexes in the area.In short, for the same amount of money, you may wish to seriously examine the other complexes and get more, if not in footage, than in amenities.The staff members are rather abrupt and do not consistently provide courteous service.They need to focus on customer service and work harder in appreciating their tenants.Though this seems to be a common complaint throughout the Dallas market, the drop in the market demand may cause even a greater shakeup and force these complex managers to shape up to compete with the newer complexes offering greater amenities. | | | | |
