| Recent Review: | | I lived here for almost five years. The rent is cheap (for Denton), and the staff is friendly. The cinder-block walls are hard to get used to at first... (try hanging up a picture!), but after that the place is ok. The maintenance guys aren't the best here, but most of the stuff is new enough that it's not an issue. |

| Recent Review: | | It is a quiet place to live.There are not a lot of college students here and those that are here are relatively quiet.Management is cooperative.Sometimes, getting things fixed takes a little while but it does get done. |

| Recent Review: | | I wrote the previous statement about Cole Place and I have something else to add!! one day late rent fee= 50 freakin dollars, trash on balcony for one day=25 freakin dollars, overage on electricity= 17 freakin dollars... getting out of these damn apartments= FREAKIN GREAT!! They charge ridiculous amounts of money like we college students have nothing else to pay for but the damn trash!! if you are paying for everything yourself i wouldnt recommend putting up with the TERRIBLE management for a year....Place To Be Apartments = uneeded stress. |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived in these apartments for a year now and when i first moved in they were great and the managment was great but now they have a new manager and the apartments are going down.The have a terrible roach problem and almost every upstairs bedroom leaks.The managment is very uncooperative in helping you fix your problems.Lately cars have been getting broken into underneath the covered parking all these ghetto people are moving in and there is trash everywhere and its just terrible.Just don't do it! There are way better apartments out there! |

| Recent Review: | | I have had nothing but problems from the rental office, Place To Be Apartments, on Carroll Ave. They are taking extra money out of the deposit check I am getting back because they mailed it to the wrong address. Things continually fell apart there and maintenance was slow, or non-existent all together. I loved the location and layout of my apartment, but the management make it hard to be satisfied. If you want good management and personell, I suggest that you not rent in any of the properties from Place to Be ... www.placetobeapartments. |

| Recent Review: | | The place was okay until the last three months when we went month-to-month.From then on I had to deal with the office staff each month and they were ALWAYS unprofessional to the point of being laughable.They would leave notices on our door for incorrect amounts, plus phony late fees, and threaten to confiscate our stuff and/or send this matter to collections if we did not pay by yesterday (and yes, I mean that literally, their dates were always wrong and always impossible to meet).To make matters worse, their notes and subsequent emails to me were full of poorly worded and confusing language, and I would get a different answer from everyone I talked to.I am still trying to get my deposit back from them and they have continued to be unprofessional and down right rude. If you want to role the dice and hope that you never have a problem, go ahead, but if you do have a problem, you are going to regret dealing with these people! |

| Recent Review: | | (1) The parking for guests is a NIGHTMARE. The staff does not tell you how strictly towing is enforced. The visitior parking isnt that clear and Bobs towing are nazis. They will snatch it up in a matter of minutes. Not to fun for your guests!(2) Price- I'm paying $450 (plus elect, plus water, plus cable, plus gas...) for a 440 square ft effeciency! What a ripoff(3) Location- you cant walk to school, the etrans drivers are terrible, and Bernard is on a HUGE hill so as a runner, the route is terrible to run on.Plus, hardly any college kids live there. Its a lot of older people.HOWEVER, the staff is great, and they are nice and everything gets taken care of quickly and easily. But the bad outweighs the good. |
