| Recent Review: |  | Beautiful apartment building - terrible company running it!Parking garage is a meeting place for thieves when it's not under water.You won't need the fitness center because you'll get plenty of exercise walking up the stairs to your 3rd or 4th floor apartment with the elevator out of service constantly.Office personnel are slow to respond...if they even do.Business center is a laugh.It's all a shame because the apartments really are nice - it's already starting to show it's age in just a few years. |

| Recent Review: |  | We moved in to this apartment from Out of town. Here are the problems we encountered1) management capability: We got a look n lease offer and faxed in the application the next day. The mgmt tried to neglect that such offer was ever made until we showed them the catalog they wrote on with the names and prices.We faxed in our application and called them to make sure we wanted a 2nd floor apt and the date we were moving in. On the morning of our move date, they called saying apt not ready. when actually moved in, they say apt was on 1st floor and not ready.What da F.... so we stay in the show room for 4 days.Lived there 1 months, AC starts to malfunction by not cooling fast enough. I know how it works since I am a AC engineer. i called in and they say maintenance guy checked it twice and it was ok. When I bumped into the maintenance guy, he said, he never checked it coz my dog was in there, and was waiting for my call back. NEGLIGENCE by the mgmt!2) 1 month into living there, our car got broken into. Radio stolen and some items in it. Surprise came when at the same day, we bumped into another neighboor telling the maintenance guy that her car got broken into too!! maintenance denied such thing until i told them that my car got broken into too. Police came and suggested us to move out. he said that this apartment has the highest bulgaries in the neighboorhood. Thats because the GATE is always open at 2-5am in the morning!! guards show up once in a month!!!Imagine that i still have 10 months to go here....... |

| Recent Review: |  | I was a bit leary after reading the ratings, but this is one of the most nicely kept properties off of Westheimer. My neigherbor has been in his townhome for 15 years, and I plan on staying too. I have yet to experience any problems. The parking sometimes gets a bit cramped, but the amenities are awesome..... |

| Recent Review: |  | This apartment complex is located just inside the 610 loop in the galleria area.I moved in,February and am very happy with my apartment.I am paying half of what I paid for my old apartment, in the same location.All my utilities, cable and HBO are included in my rent, so I write one check for everything.They now offer a maid service as well that I just started using.The property is under new management and from talking with my neighbors they have had a lot of really good changes. |

| Recent Review: |  | At first, I thought this place was awesome.It is clean and very well kept.But, the leasing staff are just friendly enough to get your business.But ask them for any kind of help and they treat you as if you don't belong in their super-fancy complex.You have to give 2 months notice for move-out and that fancy entrance gate remote with a "deposit" of $50 is NOT refundable upon return of the remote - even if they tell you otherwise.And most certainly, you will be charged for normal wear and tear upon move-out.They make sure that you don't see one penny of your deposit no matter how clean you leave the place.That scratch on the bookshelf - $15.That spot of grease on the stove - $8.Your tub not clean enough - $15.And just when you think you're out of there - you own them more than your deposit.This place will make you feel at home for the first few months, but after that - you're paying for way more than you bargained for...BEWARE!!! |

| Recent Review: |  | This apartment complex may look beautiful, but it does not live up to its advertisements of a clean, secure building.Residents have complained of rats in the hot tub and managment has been unresponsive to their concerns.Many of the security gates are often broken and not repaired.Good location to downtown, but choose a different complex without pests and with better management!! |

| Recent Review: |  | The management here have no integrity and will play the lease manipulation game to the hilt. I have been here for a yearand I have always paid my rent on time even early. I prefer six month leases as I work for a global multinational and get transfered internationaly often. The AMLI people will do anything to get you in the door. Don't believe half of what they say. When your initial lease comes up for renewal they start playing all kinds of games. There typical manipulation tactic is, "we have decided we are no longer offering leases for the term that you want anymore". If you want to renew your lease you will beforced to sign for a shorter tern for about 1/3 more rent or for a much longer term (like double the you want) to get the same rate.You will be told this in an intensionally confusing, ambiguous, poorly worded letter one or two days before your 60 day notice of vacancy giving you very little time to understand it and react. That way if you decide not to put up with their BS they will have an excuse for stealing your deposit.In my case they would not give me another 6 month lease, only 3 months or 1 year. The really awful thing about it is I had one of my buddies walk in the door of the leasing office and ask for a 6 month lease on a single bedroom apartment and they offered it to him for the same rent that I was paying already. Just to check I had some other friends phone and inquire at the AMLI leasing office and they also were offered 6 month leases for the same rent. I'm not sure if what they are doing is even legal. Its most certianly discriminatory and unethical. I have informed our personnel manager at work of what they have done. We have a real estate agent that places personnel for four large international corporations in the neighborhood. The real estate agent has black listed AMLI on Eldridge Parkway and will no longer bring any of their corporate placements there because of this. |

| Recent Review: |  | This is the worst place I have ever been to period, I lived in several places before and even my dorm was way better than this crap. Not only you have your apartment BROKEN into but the neighboors are very suspicious, dirty and unconsiderate. The management is awful, totally rude and they LIE to you about everything,the bedrooms stink (mold) they say they'll clean the carpet, never happened, fix things like the bathtub needs a new coat b/c it's disgusting and cracking, once you move in, never happened, if anything was stolen ( bikes and clothes), they said was nothing worse than anywhere else, huge BS, LIE again,it's your own problem and they cannot afford setting a camera in one of the gates that are always open. NOT SAFE for kids and women either, there are always random people walking in and out with no problem. The noise is unbelievably high, either Richmond or the neightbors. Bottom line is: RUN away from this place. |
