Recent Review:this is one the worst apartments that I have ever lived in.The water bills are high compared to other apartments in the houston area and the water never really got hot.The security was none existent and the gates stayed inoperable. When something breaks it takes at least 4 or 5 calls for them to come and fix it.They changed staff seems like every two weeks. But they will be persistent in raising your rent and collecting the rent.It seems as if they are only concerned about the money and not the upkeep of the complex. When I moved out I cleaned the apartment sparkling and they still kept my deposit. So in the end if you are looking for a fairly decent apartment this is not the one.

Recent Review:Poor service. They always need you to come to the office, instead of getting all the papers together at once they call you to come to the office about eight different times.Maintenance is slow to respond.Apartment roads are filled with pot holes.

Recent Review:This is the worst place I ever lived. The manager is rude, maintenance is non-existence and the crime level is outrageous. The manager seemed so nice until I moved in. It was a waste of pen and paper to complain about anything. My roof leaked the whole time I was there. I lived there long enough to fulfill my lease and got out! Forget about parking if you have 2 vehicles.

Recent Review:The apartments are fine.Just management can't seem to make up their mind on what manager they are going to keep. There is a huge turnaround in staff. When they have a good manager they do not support them which causes them to leave.Poor management on the owners part
147. South Point

Recent Review:Expect minimal trees, poor electrical efficiency, a constantly changing management group, less than desireable neighbors, and no courtyards or open areas to walk or play with young children. The parking lot floods and has caused engine failure to a family member. Fine if you want to be on your toes AND bored. At least they have a coke machine!!

Recent Review:The apartment units themselves are pretty nice, but the parking is atrocious. There is only one assigned parking space per unit, which is not ideal considering most households have at least 2 cars. Therefore, if a tenant has more than one car, they are forced to park in visitor parking, which can be full, especially on the weekends. If you park in visitor parking, you must then enter through a locked walk in gate to get to your apartment. The one closest our unit was broken for about a month and a half before anyone came to fix it, thereby forcing us to walk way out of the way to get inside the gate. You also need parking stickers given to you by the managment office, which we were not told upon moving in, nor were any stickers given to us.When we received a notice on our car stating it was to be towed because of having no sticker, we approached one of the assistant managers to get stickers. She was very rude and insisted we had them (she always gives them to tenants in an envelope). We had to go down there and argue with her twice before she would give us

Recent Review:I lived a year in this apartment complex, something I shall regret for quite a while.Duringtheone year I spent there, multiple things happened that made my experience an unbearable one.Writing this review is thenextbest thing to moving out.1.Parking is terrible. There are not enough parkingspaces marked "Guest", so invariably some residents park their cars in non-guest spots. The good part is, cars are towed almost EVERY night at 11 at night so by the time your cars reaches the impound, its rolled into the next day and you pay the impound fees for two weekdays.Clever!!!2.Reporting any broken appliances is useless because either they'll never come to fix it or they'll take at least a month to send someone to even look at it.Most appliances are out-dated so they don't work properly anyways. If you are a daring soul and do ask for a new appliance, good luck because you're better off pulling your teeth with really cheap pliers.BTW, when we moved in, there were dead roaches in the dishwasher and it didntwork properly. All dishes would come out greasy, with the only difference of grease spread evenly over all dishes.3.Curfew at tenat night. This is ridiculous. If residents are out walking at night, their rent-a-cop flashes a flash light in your face and asks you to go home.We are not living in a war-stricken city. The same rent-a-cop was useless when someone broke into my car and stole two xbox's and one Passport radar dector valuing over 1000 dollars.Make sure you get an electric zapper for your cars because the security is only good for harassing residents.4.Belinda from the management team has a severe attitudeproblem. You can almost always expect her to be snapping her fingers and rolling her neck.gag.The few times I had the opportunity to talk to her, she was yelling not at the top but at least the middle of her lungs.I had to ask her to calm down multiple times.5.Forget about getting your deposit back because they'll charge 70 dollars to unscrew four screws to take off a dish from the balcony and conjure up various similar charges. This is what I call a money hungry management.Charges fly out left and right.Good luck paying the charges you don't think you deserve.6.Lights in the tenniscourt are never turned on, so if you wanted to utilize one of the few amenities, you're helpless. No idiot wants to play in utter darkness. The fitness center and the club house were burned down in a suspicious fire and for an entire year, there were no substitutes.I laugh at the audacity because anything else is useless.7.If you have a nice car, forget driving in their lots because of the speed or as I like to call them the car breakers. You will eventually need to go at 0.000000000001 mph over those bumps if you want to avoid messing up your car for good.8.Crime is an every day happening. You canalmost be positive that there is someone constantly eyeing your car or your daughter, for that matter.9.Mold is a huge problem. The duration that we were there, the entire year, there was mold growing in thetoilet. You could clean it all you want, but it would keep coming back in no later than two days aftercleaning. When we complained to the management, they told us that there isn't anything we can do about that. The mold is in the water and we can't take it out.I can riskmy health by not playing tennis or working out, but living in an apartment where mold is accepted as part of your family is far too great of a risk for me to handle.10.There is only one gate that residents can accessto get in and out of the complex. That is apparently ridiculous because people are always trying to cut too close to you to get to it.All the traffic is focused in front of the old leasing office. The space there is so narrow that multiple accidentshave happened.A lot of times, the front gate gets derailed which defeats the whole purpose of having a code to get in because they leave it open for anyone to get in...and the security is questionable at best, so you're on your own. These are allthe things I came up with OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD.I certainly can go on longer. In the end, I've never had to dealwith a worse management team than here. Please don't waste your time and money. You're better off living under 59.If you want to learn some money-making tactics, however, this is the perfect place.Happy apartment searching!
