| Recent Review: | | I hope this reaches somebody that was thinking about moving to these apts. Please don't, unless U have a death wish. These apts R very deceiving. They lure U in with there nice ass leasing office, their little snacks and cappachino machine, and then then go in for the kill.U will be receiving wake up calls in the middle of the night, when U here gun shots ringing through the air. Move-in with a lease supply of roach bait, cause believe me, it will not go unused. The grounds look horrible. Ain't no grass no where! there R bad ass kids that run all over the parking lot unattened. Just today, I saw some kids all in the way of passing cars and they damn near got swiped. The noise is crazy out of control! There are drunk ass mexicans hangin out everywhere late at night. I go to work and find beer cans by my car. I can't wait till my lease is up. I counting down the days like I'm in jail or something.!!! |

| Recent Review: | | When I first moved in they were quiet and in a pretty good location.Since then, they have changed managment and gone down hill.My husband and I have lived here for 2 years and staying is not an option.The maintnance crew is very rude and the people in the office never show up on time.Each time I have placed a service call for something, I always end up calling back 3 or 4 times to check and see if anyone is going to fix it.On several different occassions they will turn the water off without notifing the residents.When you call the anserwing service for an ETA they never have one.I would not recommend living on this property. |

| Recent Review: | | They are overall good apartments as far as location, being clean, and most of all safe.I never hade a probelm with my car or anything getting messed up which was a big worry to me.The pool is really fun on the weekends because alot of people come out there to play volleyball.The one major complaint that I do have is the Office Staff and the Maintenance men.Our Air went out in the middle of the summer and it was 97 degrees for 3 days we had to wait to get it fixed.There were many small probelms that I called about that never got attended to or if they did it was several days later after I would remind them. The best thing was it is aVery great location. If you are young and like to go to the Clear Lake Bars and Pubs it is absolutley the best place to live in the Bay Area!! |

| Recent Review: | | Houston House Aparments is a shit hole. DO NOT live there. They have been turning off the water for "repairs" at least once a week for all of the 4 years I lived there. The halls of the building wreak and the carpets are nasty. The maintenance is a joke, I waited a year for the vents in my apartment to be cleaned. The weight room is more like a weight museum, the equipment that does work is about 30 years old and short circuits. There is absolutely NO free parking available for your guests, my friends received over $300 in parking tickets combined. My car was towed from under the building due to the laziness of the management for not bothering to check if I was a resident of the building before towing my car. Lastly, the elevators are always broken so don't count on them to function normally, it seems one is always being repared instead of the management just biting the bullet and buying new ones. DO NOT LIVE IN HOUSTON HOUSE APARTMENTS, they claim to be high class and the best bargain downtown, well, you can rent a new apartment in midtown for less and save yourself the trouble and humiliation of living in a shit hole. |
