| Recent Review: | | I have lived in Bonaventure for a full year. Eventhough the rent is affordable, the place is not properly maintain.When you go for the tour, the apartment does not look bad at all inside, however it will soon start falling apart.The sink in the kitchen is rotten, maintenance comes and cork the affected area; this doesn't fix the problem.The roof leaks, there are drafts coming from the windows, front door and closets. The planks outside in the building are danggling, and it seems there is no insulation in the apartment at all.The pipes backs-up every so often, if you do not want your carpet mess up better bring a plunger. The dishwasher does not clean properly and on the prewash cycle it does not run water, this makes it smell like something is burning. The refrigerator leaks water, sometimes inside and this spoils the food (one will not get food reimbursement), maintenance can't fix or find the problem.The ventilation system needs professional cleaning, there are cowebs from the 70's in it. The carpet is not installed properly, in some areas it does not cover the concrete underneath, in others is coming lose from the floor. The carpet might look clean, or new but soon dark stains start appearing, maybe the pad was not change.There is a problem with parking, specially if the neighbor likes to socialize. This also brings a lot of noise in the parking and the building at odds hours of the night, not limited to weekends. Do not call the courtesy patrol, they do not handle the situations on strict confidentiality.There is also plenty of people racing on the small street and or driving on the wrong side of the street. There has been people; residents, visitors and maintenance people alike relieving themselves behind the trash cans.The people in the accounting, and maintenance department are rude and with attitude. Make sure that you save all the receipts, including maintenance problems called in, utilities, and rent payments. You will never know when you might need them. Accounting can make mistakes, and under no circumnstances leave voicemails on any one of the departments, they will NEVER call you back.There are residents with pet that does not pick after their pets and or walks them without a leash. Some animals leave waste by one's front door.The people tending the landscape does not exercise care when blowing the leafs, they will blow dirt and leafs on ones car, scratching the paint with the dirt.Odors from the neighboring apartments comes in through the vents. If one does not have a neat neighbor, one can smell their uncleaness too.I will not recommend this property to anyone, please check other places before coming to this one. |

| Recent Review: | | NO A/C. They have some crazy system where the management decides whether you get heating or cooling. It's miserably hot in here and the walls are hot to the touch. |
