| Recent Review: | | I did not live at these apartments but a friend of mine currently lives there.The apartment looks fine from the outside for a cheaper apartment community.My friends apartment had a bad roach problem and it took a while to get it under control.The parking in this place sucks!There are not enough parking spaces for the residents and their guests.They started a new policy on June 1st 2005 which requires all cars to have either a resident sticker or a visitor card.However, they don't have any signs telling the visitors.They leave that up to the residents.If they forget to tell their guests and you park on their property, the hired towing company will patrol the lot and tow any cars without the permit.If this happens to your friends, it will cost a minimum of $175 to get your car out of impound.Trust me I know. |

| Recent Review: | | Keeping in mind that we unwittingingly rented an apartment that catered to lower incomes once and the fact that the police were called constantly, I would still rate rosemont the worst place we have ever lived. THe staff is rude incompetent and unresponsive. We had a list of over 20 move in issues which we finally gave up on after we were locked out over night. (They double locked the front door and went out through the garage - the car with the garage door opener was in the garage (single car garage) and we came home at 11:30 and were unable to get into our apartment. To make it worse they forgot to set their service for emergencies that night so we ended up in a hotel which they refused to reimburse!!) THe water was a huge issue at least once a month we were informed it would be off all day and often 3 - 4 times a month is was off without notice. Try getting ready for work with no water!! | Recent Review: | | I lived here over a course of two years.The first year we had a second floor apartment and soon found out why the couple living there before us broke their lease--the people upstairs had three kids and no parenting skills.They would throw tantrums and stomp and stomp on the floors.The whole ceiling above would vibrate.Management never did anything about it after several complaints.I threatened to move out but they convinced me to stay and they would move us to another apartment on the third floor.When our lease came up for renewal we knew we didn't want to renew there any longer so we gave our 30 days' notice and moved out.In the meantime, there had been a change of leasing agents and property manager.We cleaned up the place and even hired professional apartment cleaners to come do a move-out cleaning.The place was spotless.We thought we would get all of our deposits back--WRONG!!!The previous manager had embezzled company funds and with it most of the security deposits.It took over 6 months and several visits and phone calls for them to mail us our deposit.The stamp they used on the envelope cost more than the actual amount we received back.So, I would warn anyone about that place.GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! |
