| Recent Review: | | Priced very high compared to new properties within same area, with same amenities.Maintenance is very poor, I have requested pest control 3 times and have yet had any treatment done even though they state this is a monthly service.I work from home so if they had completed the service I would have known.I spoke with a police officer recently who stated he asked Monticito if they would like him to provide patrol at night for the apartments and they stated they were not going to have patrol.He told me also "you should have gone to the police station and asked how the crime was in the complex prior to renting."You probably would not have choosen this complex."He recommended that I have a security system installed asap.This is not a complex for people past their partying days, many, many young people (college age) that stay up all night with their music, talking, alchohol and they party many times in the parking lot.My apartment is painted with primer.So you can only imagine what it looks like.I did paint the doors and some of the baseboards with gloss just to help it look a little better.For the price I recommend Other apts in the area. |

| Recent Review: | | More problems than one can possibly imagine. They seem to tell stories about what is done with maintanace issues or hire below standard companies to come fix the problem. Our apartment has been re-roofed completely two times and we are still leaking. Currently, I am over 30 days waiting for the completion of the last roof leak project. They finally fixed the roof after 15 days but I am still waiting for the mess of a bedroom ceiling to be fixed.The management has yet to once return our phone calls in 7 months plus never shows up for scheduled appointments. Maintanance will come if you call a couple of times after nobody shows for the appointment, but if you do not call them, nobody will ever come, even though the apt. management scheduled the day and time. The management is not interested in working around your work schedule at all. I would not live here again under any circumstance. We have had at least 3 plus maintanance problems every month such as constant red ants, multiple piping leaks, etc. |

| Recent Review: | | If you like to have neighbors who are criminals..you'll love it here!Management has no restrictions!Since I've lived here we had several drug bust..people moving in and then moving out the next month! Maitenance staff sucks & very unproffesional! Manager needs to lose weight so she can walk the property often and see what really is going on right under her nose.This is not a very pleasant place to live! |

| Recent Review: | | I've lived here for several years.The management company they now have is terrible.They apparently never walk the property.I reported leaks and problems in my apartment and it took 3 months and several trips to the office before they finally sent maintenance to repair the problems.At one time this was a great place to live, but now there is trash thrown around (beer cans, bottles, fast food trash, etc) and it takes days before it is picked up.The lawns are not kept up.The security gates almost never work.The maintenance men are usually in their apt/office watching tv instead of working and when they do work, it is not good.It's unbelievable how run down this property has become in the 2 or 3 years since the current management team took over.Do yourself a favor and don't rent at The Oaks of Marymont! |

| Recent Review: | | I was going to move in. I saw the model one and it was ok. But the one they showed me once I was about to sign my lease had water stains on the walls. I went through the apartment and saw that there was a HUGR Roach in the bathroom. They said they spray for bugs and that must of been one that was in the house. I was like if there is one there is others... |

| Recent Review: | | Living here is like living in a ghetto.Neighbors partying, fighting, littering, having sex in the pools, and speeding through the parking lots.Stray dogs, paper thin walls, tiny apartments, cheap everything throughout (except the rent!).Not a safe or welcome environment for children.Would not let my child play with the children here.If you are military or just moving from out of state, beware.This place will make you hate San Antonio.Note:Also in no-where land.There are no sidewalks or room to walk or bike outside of the complex.You can get to the nice grafitti covered neighborhoods by walking along the 35 mph + street.As far as maintance, nice guys, but our water goes off at least once a month, and my garbage disposal just keeps on making a nice smelling soup. |

| Recent Review: | | Park West is run by the worst leasing team ever. Even if you put things in writing they are never done. While living there the toilets overflowed often. The dishwasker had standing dirty water in it. If you ran the dishwasher the sink would overflow (the water never became clean). The sink in the master bath overflowed. All the electrical plugs stopped working on two walls and the light switches were hot to the touch. We were robbed at least 3 times that I can remember. During the first robbery the thiefs broke the windoe right by the front door. The apartments never fixed it and we were robbed several times after that. Plenty of drug dealers and no security (they claimed 24 hr security on-site). |

| Recent Review: | | This is without a doubt the worst apartment I have ever lived in. To start out with whenever you use water its got rust in it and you have to let it run until it gets clear, and thats only if the water is even on since they turn the water off every two days or so. The faucets are always breaking, during my stay I have had very faucet in the apartment fixed at the minimum three times each. I can understand a repair or two every now and then but it got really ridiculous. There have also been two times when the air condition went out and they didn't send a repairman out for nearly a week both times(and when you live in San Antonio you need A/C.). The apartment also was infested with ants and roaches despite how clean we kept it and they never sent anyone out to spray for bugs. My biggest complaint would have to be that in the time I have stayed there we have had three gas leaks and two of the times they didnt send anybody out till the next day (what were we supposed to do sleep in our car.)the third time I called up the repair service the apartment used and hired them directly to fix it.Also since everybodys electricity usage is monitored on one meter (and you just pay a percent af the cost.)you can expect to pay about $200 in utilitys every month. One more thing, because of the way they bill utilitys you have to pay two bills when your lease ends. Sorry to sound like a complaining jerk but for $655 a month Pecan Valley really was the worst place I have ever lived, I could see myself renting this place for maybey $400-$450 a month but thats it. |

| Recent Review: | | This apartment has been nothing but problems we have lived there for 2 years and the managment changed 3 times. I would not recomend this. The gate is always broken, the maintance requests get lost. They do a poor job. Change their policies with out telling any one. They are rude and hard to work with. |
