| Recent Review: | | When I first moved in this building was an "extraordinary" rental community with friendly staff who watered your plants when you were away, escorted fix-it people to your apartment and there was even a friendly doorman. There was concierge available 12 hours a day.BACK THEN the 3001 Park Center Apartments felt like true luxury. However since the new penny-pinching uncaring Management (Donaldson) took over very unfortunately the building has been steadily declining.No more friendly staff, no more niceties and as a matter of fact they have not even ever replaced one of the PCs designated to be used by tenants in the so-called Business Center. Interestingly enough a PC can be had for $ 350 these days. However this reveals the amount of care the new management has for the convenience of the tenants. |

| Recent Review: | | My car was stolen, the maintenance staff can not be trusted, and you should not have carpet in elevators with people who have incontinent animals. The quality of life was great when I first moved in, in 2002. Management is not responsive any more. |

| Recent Review: | | My roommate and I just finished our lease on June 30, 2004 and we had a two bedroom, remodeled walk-in terrace apartment.The ONLY reason I am not still there is because it was not financially feasible FOR ME to afford the one bedrooms offered.But, my roommate and I enjoyed our stay in for many reasons:* Rent included almost ALL utilities except water* Management was excellent-always very professional!* Grounds and residential areas well kept- Very prettyneighborhood with rolling hills and scenic views* Maintenance very responsive-even at late hours!* VERY spacious floorplans* Nice amenities--Exercise gym and a pool!* Washers and Dryers in some units* Quiet neighborhood* I felt safe no matter what time of night I came in!The only complaint I might have is with parking, which for residents was pretty decent, but your visitors may have problems parking if they visit late at night.And if your visitors are there past midnight, it is best to always park in visitor parking or YOU WILL BE TOWED!Overall, I had an excellent time at Newport Village and I truly hated to leave.I feel as if I have spoiled and that very few places will compare!I hope you enjoy your stay!V |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived in the 6034 building from Sept 2002 to present.My boyfriend and I share a 1 Bedroom.It is very big and reasonably priced ($900 - all util. incl.).There is a laundry room on each floor.You can walk to the Huntington metro (10 min walk).There is plenty of parking.It is quiet. I have never had any problems - everything works ok and I haven't seen any roaches or anything.I have heard that the other buildings besides 6034 have roach problems.The main reason I am considering moving is to be in a more exciting neighborhood. |

| Recent Review: | | Nice and bright.Large backyard to play and BBQ. Parking is always available.Quiet.Showers suck, always getting hot and cold blast.Kitchens are small and units have little storage in them.Overall quiet and comfortable, but on the expensive side. |

| Recent Review: | | This isn't a terrible place to live, but it's not great either...the leasing office is very responsive, the staff takes care of problems very quickly, and the landscaping is very, very good.However, this is an old place, and needs a makeover.Also, crime is seriously on the rise here.Rarely do you feel safe outdoors after dark thanks in large part to the run-down complex next door.This place is very pet friendly, though, and the tenants tend to be twenty-something professionals. |

| Recent Review: | | Ex maintenence man has keys to apts and helps himself to your personal property. Very slow maintenence and they don't let you know when they will be in your apt or leave you a maintenence note. Several resident alcoholic and drug users ruin it for the rest of the folk here who are basically quiet people |

| Recent Review: | | If you do not mind young men aimlessly loitering around your neighborhood this is the place for you!!Also there has been much theft in the Foxchase community, however Foxchase administration will not inform or warn it's other tenants. If you do not mind rodents (rats) and cockroaches that are the size of small eggs, then this is the perfect place for you to come.At certain points of the day (evening) you can see many extremely large cockraoches walking around outside on the pavement as though they were squirrels (not afraid of humans).Come on down, Foxchase will gladly show you their models in their nice, and clean leasing office building, but after you view those beauties go and drive around the actual Foxchase community.Building's are falling apart because of dry rot and termites; litter is everywhere, and garbage is overflowing.The rents are cheaper here because the properties arenot well cared for.The carpet in my building is old, worn and dirty with stains.The laundry room is a meeting place for mold and insects. To be fare some properties look nice from the outside while others look as thought they belong in a housing project.I am almost sure my apartment has mold somewhere but they won't do anythng about it. Don't move here. |
