| Recent Review: | | As most of Ashburn, the prices are a bit higher than they should be.On the sign when you enter, it says 'Luxery' apartments.Very misleading.You can find better apartments for cheaper in other areas, but this place is cursed with what most Northern Virginia places are cursed with: Fast construction built for a quick return.Sadly, if you're not from this area, you will probably be disappointed.The facilities have not been kept up, and everything could use a new coat of paint.The gym is only 2 or 3 pieces of equipment, and the pool does not go any deeper than 4 feet, so even for short people, you can't swim laps.Parking is great, as there are usually lots of open spots.They planned ahead for that atleast.Garages are an option, but they are not near the apts, so expect a walk.Security is ok.There is no gate, or security guards, but there have always been numerous members of the Loudoun County Sheriffs Dept who live here, and you can usually see a couple vehicles parked around the area.Lighting is a bit bad in some places, so if you have a need to go out to your car at night, park near a light.Ashburn isn't known for it's crime, but it's slowly been seeping in from Sterling.The management and the maintenance are the worst aspects of the facility.Management is flakey, and forgetful and often puts a low priority on everything, unless your rent is off by a penny.Customer service skills are somewhat lacking, as is general professionalism.Maintenance has improved slightly, but can still be horrendous where the average ticket can takes 2 weeks to get resolved.Communication is terrible as well, as there have been instances where a trouble ticket was put in, and the facility didn't have a key to your place, so they waited for you to call them about it.Each apt comes with Washer and Drier, but if one of these goes out, you could be waiting two weeks for a repair or replacement.Sadly, same goes with Air Conditioning, even if your in mid-summer, and it's 90+ degrees out, with 80%+ humidity.Overall, I would not recommend moving into these facilities at the moment.There have been a few changes recently however, with new management going in, and new maintenance, so there is hope. |

| Recent Review: | | I rented a short term apartment here and the whole operation is substandard.ANYTHING they promise you you need to get in writing as no ones word is any good at all.They will even admit they made promises they don't keep once they get that lease signed.Customer service is non-existent, this place is a revolving door.Walls are paper thin and the apartments are shoddily constructed.They don't enforce the dangerous dogs policy, there are pit bulls, dobermans and german shepherds.Parking is abysmal, and they don't enforce their policies.That would be too much like work I think.The "gated community" is a blatant lie, I have seen that gate closed less than 10 times in the whole time I've been here.Fully half the cars in the lot have no stickers but as I said, they don't enforce it.The "security system" is a joke, I asked for info on how to use/activate it...they never told me.The "cable and internet" package is a real rip-off, you pay $70 per month for a ripped-off Direct TV feed that is out every time it rains, and slow, unreliable internet.You'll see a lot of satellite dishes in the complex and that's why.You can get Dish Network for $25 per mo and DSL for $25 per mo and save $20 over their ripoff package.Dumpster is often broke/full/stinky, and those who live near it get assualted with noise, insects and rodents.Don't ever accept an apt. by the dumpster no matter where you go, but this is worse than normal."Business center" is usually full of teenagers playing games andtrying to get to sites their parents won't let them look at.Printer, fax machine and copier have never worked any time I've tried to use them.Last but not least, since it's a dead-end road leading to the complex, the police every so often like to set up a roadblock/checkpoint on it so they can try to catch people w/o insurance cards, LOudoun Co decals and whatnot.Because of course only second class citizens live in apt. complexes and I'm sure the "real" citizens of Ashburn never get checked.I bought a house and will be moving at the end of this month.I can't wait. |

| Recent Review: | | These apartments are larger and more beautiful then any others in the area. As a bonus you can get a direct access garage from you apartment straight into your private garage. As well as being right on one of the nicest country clubs in NOVA. |
