| Recent Review: | | My husband and I have lived at the Birches for 1 yr.We have enjoyed our stay in the quiet community behind Greenbrier mall.Our stove was not cooking things properly and we called matience--after the 2nd request we had a new stove.Everything in our paticular unit was freshly painted and brand new.However, one of our neighbors had holes in their bathroom door and the carpet smelled like cats when they first moved in.Our expirence was good.Our neighbor above us had a really yappy dog that would bark all hours of the night and pee etc. would drop down onto our balcony.One quick call to the office and they point a note on his door and the dog noice/droppings and ceased.We were happy at the Birches though everything except the price.That is why we moved when they raised a 1 BR for 810 to 870.We found plenty other places in VA beach for that amt. with more sq. footage. |

| Recent Review: | | awful, the walls are painted in only primer and the rugs were ready to fall apart when i moved in yet i had to pay to replace them, dishawasher broke, towel rack broke, faucets leak, you do have to pay for gas now, ugly cracked formica, the kitchen cabinets are like cardboard boxes stapled to a wall, easily broken blinds and closet doors, the windows provide no insulation whatsoever, anyone who steals from the store around t he corner runs here to hide |

| Recent Review: | | Twice this apartment complex has lost documentation that my roommate and I provided to them. The first time they left us a semi-nasty voice message when they lost our Virginia Power account information and claimed we never gave it to them. Now they are claiming that they never received a copy of my roommate's orders from the navy to go to sea. Under Virginia law, if you receive orders to go to sea, you can break a lease by providing those orders to the complex. My roommate did this. Now the complex is claiming it was never received and they are turning us over to a collection agency for $2000. Be careful! They might not be malicious, but they are disorganized enough that it can cost you big!!! |
