| Recent Review: | | Lakeview Village is NOT where you want to live.When we moved in we found hundreds of dead spiders around the apartement, walls covered with spiderwebs, and carpet so dirty it clogged and broke our vacuum cleaner.There was food still in the fridge, the oven was broken, and the faucets on the sinks wouldn't let you turn on the hot water.Upon complaining to the manager, he proceded to yell at us and tell us we were lying.Not very home-like.Also, with the brick walls you don't get cell phone reception inside, the heating does not work and costs a small fortune, the water heater gives about 10 minutes of continuous hot water, and the electrical outlets are so worn, the plugs actually fall out of them.Parking is horrible and the doors are so small you can't even fit a small sofa inside.We had to send ours back to the furniture store when the delivery men couldn't fit it through the door.Stray cats howl outside your door in the middle of the night and all facilities like the laundry rooms, tennis court and volleyball court are extremely run down.Although we moved into an extremely dirty apartment and fixed up everything and cleaned it ourselves, we still have to pay to get the carpets shampood and everything cleaned when we leave.HORRIBLE.We have lived in many apartments and this one by far is the worst facility and the worst manager.Although the lake is beautiful- don't be tempted by it- DON'T LIVE HERE! |
