| Recent Review: | | Lived there while we built a house. Management is unresponsive to repairs. Roof leaked to the point of drywall tape and seams showing. Never fixed a broken shower or toilet. If you are already there, upon move out make sure that you walk through with manager for the final inspection or take pictures, otherwise they will add extrarepairs such as replacing carpet or dirty appliances and bill you for the balance. There were two shootings in the 15 months that we lived there as well as our car broken into. There ususally was plenty of parking. Pools were always questionable. Spa never worked. Exercise room is very tired and needs work. They never removes snow from sidewalks and grass frequently needs cutting in the summer. |

| Recent Review: | | River Woods is the quietest complex I have ever lived in.I have been here 16 months and have never had a problem.Maintence is propt with my request, there is plenty of parking, and the neighborhood feels safe. |

| Recent Review: | | The place wasn't actually that bad.My biggest problem is 3 of my friends' and my own mother's car was towed visiting me here.There are very few 'visitor' parking spots and you have to get there before 6pm.Otherwise they tow, and it's automatically $125 to get out and then $30 extra dollars a day.Most people have to park outside the complex and walk.Well, my apartment was way in the back, which is 15 minutes away.Plus, they don't give everyone on the lease a parking permit...only 2 per apartment.I was in a 3 bedroom, and one of my roommates had to do without. |

| Recent Review: | | This has been one horrible nightmare. Which is still at court might I add. When we first moved in, we were under the impression that the place was wonderful. That is was the perfect place to live. That was short lived. The first thing that went wrong was the dishwasher. It didn't work for the whole year we lived there. Next the heater died and black smoked covered our apartment. The maintenance men didn't show up for a week to fix the problem during the winter nonetheless. Plus our apartment had a fireplace and the fake tiles had popped out. To top this off we went back home to CT for Thanksgiving to come home to a dead animal in the closet leaking all over our clothes. I once again called maintenance and they didn't show up for a week of me calling. I then had to get the city of Fredericksburg involved due to this. He called management in the office and told her to get off her butt to clean it up. As you guess, she did a half job cleaning up. When speaking to the man in the City of Fredericksburg he told me he had to get involved a month prior due to the huge trash problem that they had. One more complaint, our lease was up in August of 04'. We never received any type of notice to this. However, In Feb of 05' the management tried to collect back rent from that time. Please double think of living there. You will not be happy. Ask others that live there and they all have problems. Please take my advice and look elsewhere. |
