Recent Review: I have had nothing but problems since moveing into this complex in Aug 02. We would move elsewhere but since we are moving out of state soon we just put up with the mess. But hopefully other people will see this and avoid this complex. Since the day we moved in we have had problems with the maintance staff. The management says that all work orders will be done with in 48 hours. Unless that is if you need to order parts. but at least you will know that someone has looked at your appartment. Here It can take months for someone to look at your problem. I have had many things that I put in orders for and weeks go by before anyone does anything. I have put several work orders in for the same thing over and over and nothing gets done right the first time. For instance. I have my own dryer but the complex is in charge of cleaning the vent in the wall. well They will clean it and 3 days later its clogged up agian. So I have to keep calling them over and over to get it cleared. Other wise I have to let the dryer vent all the hot air in my appartment and let me tell you in the summer it gets hot in here quick!! So needless to say we are still waiting on the maintance staff to fix that one thing properly. Its just one of many!The management. Several months ago they got new management and I thought hey things will get better nope they have not!! One thing is the repaving of our appartment complex parking lots. They put the notice up 1, yes 1 day prior to doing this. when they did my street it was not a problem as in my area there is alot of extra parking But! when they did the streets up the hill from thats when the problems started. Up in that area there is not enough parking and so many people come home late and find there there is no where to park so they have to walk a far far away. Thats not easy to do say if you have small children with you. So people were parking on the side of the street. Yes it was sort of a fire lane but because the managment did not provide proper parking and decided to repave large portions at once people had no other choice but to find parking where they could. So you know what happend! Over 50 cars got towed. and the management said sorry there is nothing we can do for you. Agian this morning they started working on another part of the complex. now. Last time when they did our street they were nice enough to knock on peoples doors to make sure that all cars were moved in the morning. My neighbor and I had both misread the notice (since it was just put up and did not relize that the repavement was that day) so they asked us to move our cars no problem. Well guess what they started towing cars this morning on the street behind us. its not even 9am maybes some people have just not left for work yet!! my Husband and I had to park on that part of the street last night as we came home from dinner with friends late and there was no parking left on our street. They were about to tow his car when he got downstairs I am just furious. Come one give people time to get to their cars in the morning!!!! so he had to drag our 18 months oldlittle girl out in her pjs at 830am just to move the car a few spots cause if he had waited a few more min he would have been towed!! thats alot woods of fairfax I will be sure to tell all my friends and co-wokers to pass along how Kind and nice you are to your residents!!! Dont ever live here they dont care about you at all!!!!Oh and there are kids allways hanging around the area smoking pot we can never catch them though. and there are allways kids walking around late late at night and let me tell you as a PG woman with a toddler it does not feel safe there at all!!
