| Recent Review: | | First, any attorney can contact me about this if they like. The Meadow's employees are extremely rude and have no regards for one's constitutional rights. On this date of May 25th 2005, I waited till the 5:30pm mail pickup time that I was told to obtain my mail the last time I was denied pickup, however I was then informed that today the mail hour was a much earlier time that occurred while I was at work (from 2 till 3pm), and that I should pick up my mail tomorrow. Please not that this is a very large and heavely-staffed Apartment complex. I explained that I would be out of town for one-week beginning tomorrow for a business trip. Rather than making reasonable accommodations (three of them were standing around chatting about nothing), I was told that the mail times are acurtseyand that they do not have to give me my mail. It is also important to note that staff of the Meadows Apartments were not occupied by any other activity on all three occasions. We are in the process of important legal proceedings and these documents are time sensitive. If I don't have these documents in by today, I will loose a home. Not only was the Meadow's employee, Pam, rude, but she told me that they will never give us our mail again because "I took the Lord's name in vein." I spoke with the local Postal Inspector and they said that their actions are illegal and they are to be investigated tomorrow, but the office was currently closed. In addition, the meadows run the heater in the hall full blast even if it is 90 degrees outside, despite complaints. It heats the apartments to an intolerable temperature. The conditions of this place are quite filthy, and Im not just saying this because they are with holding my mail. If they see me walking around, they will demand that I, or my wife produce our special green IDs that they make you carry. They are always harassing me about my ID when they need to mind their own business. From the very first day we enquired about leasing an apartment, all of the Meadows leasing agents were very rude to us, and withholding our mail is a direct reflection of how they treat their residents under all circumstances. This is not middle school, but they talk to us like we are prisoners or inmates without any legal rights. |

| Recent Review: | | They moved me in to a filthy apartment. They told me I had to park in the garage and then gave my spot away 4 times. I had mold growing all over the walls in the den which ruined all my daughters stuffed animals.Then they didnt even want to take the blame.The grounds are not kept up. The railing of the outside stairs was laying on the ground thru half of the winter.They accuse you of noise you hadnt made.The Property manager(Jane)doesnt have a clue to what she is doing.They increased rent by $45.00 a month. It is Electric heat and I wasPaying $175-$225.00 a month. I live in a house now and my heat and electric is not even half of that.When you move out make sure you clean your window cills even if they were cleaner when you moved out than they were when you moved in because they will take $55.00 from your Security Deposit.That was just a few things, there were many more problems there.It is definately not worth the money. |
