| Recent Review: | | EVERYONE FROM THE MANAGER TO THE RECEPTIONIST AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE TO THE PERSON THAT OVERSEE THE PORTFOLIO IS RUDE!!!!!!THEY HANG UP ON YOU, YELL AT YOU AND DO NOTHING BUT TO MAKE YOUR STAY THEIR MISERABLE.AS FAR AS MAINTENANCE OF THE BUILDING GOES, THE BASEMENT HAS FLOODED 3 TIMES IN THE YEAR THAT I HAVE BEEN THERE AND WHEN YOU INFORM THE OFFICE THEY SAY, "YEAH WE'LL LOOK AT IT".WE HAD MILDEW GROWING IN OUR BATHROOM AND ASKED FOR THEM TO TAKE CARE OF IT AND THEY REFUSED.SO WE HAD TO KILTZ AND REPAINT.WE ALSO INSTALLED A LARGER VENT IN THE BATHROOM TO PREVENT THIS SINCE THEY REFUSED TOO.WE HAVE A LEAK ABOVE OUR KITCHEN CABINETS AND THEY ONCE AGAIN REFUSE TO TAKE CARE OF IT SINCE WE'RE MOVING IN 3 MONTHS.DON'T MAKE A COMPLAINT TO THE OFFICE BECAUSE THE MANAGER WILL TELL THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE COMPLAINT SO THAT WAY YOU WILL BE HARRASSED BY THEM AND MAYBE EVEN GET YOUR CAR BROKEN INTO. YEAH THAT'S RIGHT, MY CAR GOT BROKEN INTO AND THE MANAGER SAID, "GOOD YOU DESERVED IT".I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. |

| Recent Review: | | I have enjoyed living here with a few caveats:I was shown an apartment, paid the deposit then told it would not be available but one like it would be. The one I had reserved was on the corner, the one I got was north facing and incredibly dark.Then the day I moved in someone else moved into the appartment I was shown even though it was not supposed to be available until september. so beware. I ended up moving to another in the same complex that was lighter.The covered parking is nice, though the opener I got was broken when I got it.They will charge you for cleaning the carpet so don't expect the deposit back.You can sometimes hear the trains at night.Overall though it is convenient and comfortable. The owner seems like she will bleed you dry for money. |

| Recent Review: | | This place is horrible.It looks very nice on the outside, and even when you tour it, it looks pretty good.But....they built these apartments so fast and skimped on building materials.The walls, ceilings, and floors are VERY VERY thin!!!! Our light in the dining room rattles when upstairs neighbors walk.Our 18lb. dog supposedly sounds like a horse to the people below us???People playing music or their TV even somewhat loud can be heard by all.The building materials on the interior are just as bad.Our carpet has been steam cleaned, and still looks like crap (definitely not stain resistant), you can't wash the walls because the paint will wipe off.Our linoleum has turned yellow (we were the first people to live in this apartment) and we were told it has been happening and we won't be held responsible for it.That's great, I just love having to live with yellow linoleum.Ok, let's talk about the price.We have three people paying rent, so it was manageable, but OH MY GOD!!!$1400 for a three bedroom in Milwaukee, please.We were stupid and taken by it's VERY SUPERFICIAL appearance.Ok, the location is good, but of course you do have to live next to a very smelly foundry (we knew this before moving in).Some of the office staff are helpful, but for the most part they are not the most friendly, they just send out warnings that you will get fined if you're caught doing anything wrong (please, are we teenagers?).I could go on and on.Overall, WAY TOO overpriced for the quality of apartment that you get.WAY TOO LOUD.I've talked to many fellow residents, and they all can't wait for their lease to be up because they feel the same way.It's like living in a rich spoiled kid's dorm room without an RA.Look elsewhere!There are much better apartments in the area that are less expensive, and worth more than this place. |
