Utilities account for up to 1/3 (or more) of the average renters monthly housing expenses. This is not just about who pays the bills, but about the size of the bills. An inefficient or poorly maintained HVAC unit may still keep you comfortable but it may be using 2 or 3 times the electricity or gas to do the job! If your paying the utility bills what incentive does your landlord have to keep your HVAC units running efficiently? We see and pay the utility bills every month and we make sure our HVAC systems are working efficiently. Affordability is great, but it doesn t matter if you don t feel safe. Grandview has the 2nd lowest crime rate in the metro area, behind only Lee's Summit. In addition, our complex has one of the lowest police incident rates in South KC based on the KC Star s weekly Safety Net Reporting . One last thing, don't underestimate the city of Grandview.
