There is no gate, no assigned parking, the tennants are very noisy (especially at night), and maintenance is a nightmare. We are constantly getting neighbors coming in drunk late at night, yelling and making a lot of noise. We had to call the cops once because some people decided to have a loud party and take up every single parking spot, plus all the firelanes and even the middle of the parking lot! Parking is a pain as it is first come first serve, but not enough parking for everyone. There have also been cases of domestic violence(which we have heard through the walls or seen outside). Also had to complain for two months because the neighbors downstairs had a loud dog that barked constantly and the apartment office did nothing. Finally took a call to animal control for them to do anything. Our plumbing for our toilet was broken when we moved in and it took them almost two days to get here even though it was leaking. Their 24 hour maintenance is not true, you are lucky if you can get find them for a normal 8 hour day.We also found our new apartment filthy when we moved in, since no one had cleaned it in months it looks like. Dust and dead bugs were everywhere. Plus, as I said, no one had checked the functionality of everything. The attic door was loose and opened in a wind storm(dropping insulation everywhere), the toilet leaked, light bulbs burnt out within a month. Things that would have not happened if any maintenance person had looked at them.Well last month Holland residential took over from JPI. Who knows if it will help or make it worse? But we don't wish to rent from this place anymore.
